Apparently I didn't set an alarm in my room, because by the time I awoke, it was 8:49 AM. I thought to myself that the entire place was crowded. I got dressed very fast, and if I were lucky, I would find a spot at the Warwickshire crash site. I realized I hadn't had breakfast, but I didn't feel hungry as I was hopped up of questions.
As I drove out near the reported crash site, I continuously questioned myself on what was going on. There were no people around, and the only sound was natural. Once I reached the reported park which had the crash site. I saw cars and bikes parked, but no one near it. It was particularly odd that; when getting out of my car, some cars were left running, as if they were turned on with such a pace that the drivers had no time to even close their doors.
I continued to the crash site, by which a green mist, repulsive smelling mist came from in front of me. It brought me to tears to just smell it, but no matter what, It didn't drive me away, my curiosity will not be stopped. I finally made it to the crater, the crater was at least 12 ft deep. I slid down the crater, wondering if was actually a meteor which made this hole as the smell was off. Then, something pierced the mist, it was not meteor, but something of a capsule. The capsule was the same size the news reported as asteroids. The outer structure was similar to Aluminum on planes, but it wasn't Aluminum, as once I threw a rock at the surface, it bounced off and the material wasn't damaged, but I chalked it up to being a hardy substance of Aluminum as if you threw a rock at an actual plane, it wouldn't really damage it. Now, to my mind, this might be a foreign satellite which was too close to Earth orbit, but I didn't know why it was this big without alerting the U.S or Britain.
Then, I saw what looked to be a lid which seemed to be opened from the inside, I tried looking in, but it was too dark to even pierce what's in front of me. Then, I heard a sound which pierced my thought process.
I quickly ran out of the crater and back to the safety of my vehicle. I drove as fast as I can, still hearing the horn. I didn't know why I was afraid, but if I was afraid, I was terrified. Once I reached the motel, I ran to my room and locked the door. Then, the horrid horn stopped. I was relieved that the noise was gone, but after that small adventure, I worked up a hunger for food. I got out of my room and to the dining room, I checked to see if there were something to eat, but only crackers and water was there. Then, my eyes peeked over to the left to see cold eggs and ham leftover from breakfast, I instantly took the food and ate, and after that, I took the crackers to my bedroom.
After time resting, I heard a faint knocking sound. "Hello?" Um, who is this? "P...Please open up, i'm from the British Army." How can I tell if you're not lying? "Just... please." After hearing just that, I opened the door and saw a 20 year old man in uniform, he looked shaken and he was covered in dirt and blood. What has happened to you? "T..Tripods. They attacked us." Tripods? What was he saying? Can you please explain? "Tripods! They were 2 types! One 100ft, others 300ft, they wiped my entire regiment out! Black gas killing anyone without a gas mask, and death rays coming from them, they turned people into burning skeletons and melted out tanks!" Hmm, please, sit down, explain more.
