Today when I woke up I got 2 interesting calls one from my dad and one from uncle Pegasus. The one from dad told me about a tag team dueling tournament during Christmas. I already knew who my partner was obviously it was Cipher. Uncle Yugi would probably team with uncle Joey. I didn't know who dad would tag with unless it was mom or Yugi. Anyway the call from uncle Pegasus told me about 3 sacred beast cards, so two fun calls so far and I haven't even had breakfast. I made my way to breakfast, found Cipher, and filled him in on what happened. He was ecstatic at the tag tournament, then.
"Pegasus made more cards with spirits he couldn't control first the Egyptian gods, and now these beast cards." He whispered angrily.
"Yeah, and one day it'll get him killed." I replied just as angrily.
"Anyway how about we see if any students are good enough for the tournament." I said as a handful of students were pretty good.
"Sure we know Bastion, Jaden, Alexis, and Zane Truesdale are good enough, so we'll ask them and then they can come up with teams." Cipher suggested. I nodded and we went to find Alexis and Zane as they were in obelisk. We finally found Alexis at the duel arena. We told her about the tournament and seemed ecstatic we told her about it, then we asked if she knew where Zane was. She said he was at a lighthouse at the dock, so we thanked her and went to see Zane. We finally spotted him just staring into space.
"Hey Zane Kaiba told us about a tag tournament during Christmas break want to join?" I asked.
"Sure, but who's going to be my partner?" He asked back
"Well we're also inviting Alexis, Jaden, and Bastion so you could team with one of them." I answered.
"Ok I'll ask Bastion if he wants to team as he can figure out a deck to compliment mine." Zane said.
"Ok we'll see ya. We got to tell Bastion and Jaden about it." I said running from the dock. We then found both Jaden and Bastion, and both said they would join the tournament. I was actually psyched for the tournament. The rest of the day proceeded as normal and I went to sleep dreaming of the tournament that was only a few weeks away.
