Scarlett released her hands from his when the food arrived, she gulped when they placed her plate in front of her. "Something wrong?" He asked, seeing the look on her face as she stared down at her plate.

She slowly moved her head "No." She wanted to gag, she was embarrased to ask what the description was on the menu, and wanted to be sure that she ordered the most expensive item on the menu. Now she's regretting her decision.

Evan kept looking over at her, he noticed that she was playing with her food, and wasn't taking a bite. "Would you like to order something else?"

"No, I'll eat it." She said softly, secretly gagging on the inside.

The more she continued to push food around on her plate, Evan noticed. He had a feeling that she didn't know what she had ordered. "Excuse me, I'll be right back." She said standing up quickly. She headed for the restroom. She walked in and stood at the sink, turned on cold water while looking in the mirror "What am I doing?"

She put her hand underneath the water and started patting the back and front of her neck with the cold water, trying to cool off. Shutting the water off she placed her hands on each side of the sink and lowered her head, thinking that she shouldn't have been so stubborn. She was hungry, and told herself to try it anyways.

She walked back to the table and noticed that her plate was exchanged for something different. "I hope you don't mind, I had them get you something different."

She felt relieved and sat down "Thank you, you didn't have to do that."

"I mentioned earlier that I wanted you to have a good time tonight, I couldn't let a meal spoil your night." He said sounding sincere. "Does that look any better?"

She smiled "Yes, thank you. The other one sounded good, but I have to admit I didn't know what it was."

After their plates were removed, Evan stood up and took her hand walking her over to an area where couples were dancing, a man on the piano was  playing romantic music. He placed his arm around her waist and pulled her to him, his other hand clasped to hers and began dancing.

She felt good being in his arms, and would look up at him every now and then and then would quickly look away when she saw him looking at her, smiling.

Her heart was beating so hard and fast it was making her knees weak, and began to tremble with the feeling of nervousness. She didn't realize what she did next, she rested her head against his chest for a bit and closed her eyes. His arms wrapped around her tighter, and had rested his chin atop her head, and danced a little longer.

She realized what she was doing and pushed away from him, and began walking back to their table. Swearing at herself quietly along the way back. Evan followed behind wondering what he did, he placed his hand on her back stopping her. "Did I do something wrong?" He whispered, leaning into her ear, giving her goosebumps.

Shaking her head no, she continued walking towards their table. He stood there looking around, feeling bad. He breathed a heavy sigh and walked over to her. "Come with me, I have somewhere else I would like to take you."

She remained quiet to their next destination, he pulled up to a pier off of Miami beach and parked. "What are we doing here?" She asked sitting forward looking at all the boats on the water.

"I'm going to take you out for a ride on my sailboat yacht, the night is perfect for it." He smiled while helping her out. She wasn't sure if her heart could take it any longer, after all the years that he had hurt her, and then for him to be so sweet to her she was having mixed feelings. She didn't think that he knew who she was, and was scared to think what he would think or do if he found out who she really was.
