"Jacky, your rent payments are overdue by a month. You must pay me, today or tomorrow, or you will be greeted by a eviction notice!" The landlord stomped off. I slammed the door and sat back down on the couch. I stared down at my hands as stress filled my head. I didn't know how I was gonna pay.
Then suddenly, a idea came into my head.
I walked down the sidewalk at exactly 2:35 A.M. The streets were pretty empty, perfect. Turning the corner, I saw a teenage girl, who's attention was just on her phone. Dumb move when she's alone at two A.M. We both walked, her a bit slower, but she came close enough, I could finally make my move.
She gasped as a knife cut into her stomach. She collapsed and screamed. I covered her mouth tightly with my hand and I repeatedly stabbed her, until she was out of it. My hands and sleeves were drenched in her blood, like her clothes. I reached into her jacket pocket and grabbed her wallet.
"You better have my rent-"
"Yes, sir." I held out the money. Money I had got from my little treasure hunt.
