"So, little missy, you really have joined us?" Ingrid grinned, a mischievous glint in her eye.

"What choice do I have?" Lottie sighed.

"That's not the spirit, we are going to have to work on that," she purred, "but first..." Ingrid handed Lottie some plain black clothes and a black hairband, "you need to show that you work here."

Lottie grimaced, taking the clothes and walking into the bathroom. She looked just like everyone else. She forced a determined smile onto her face. You'll find a way to escape. Lottie knew she wasn't scared. She knew exactly what the problem was. But she couldn't deal with it until she escaped, if she ever did escape.

"Wonderful!" Ingrid smirked.

"Thanks." Lottie muttered, looking at the floor.

"I'm going to the master, he is coming to see you." Ingrid left the room.

"Ok Lottie, you can do this." Lottie said to herself, taking a deep breath and flattening down her black top.

A few minutes later, the tall man Lottie and Jamie had met was back. She instantly remembered Jamie's words again. She took another deep breath. What would Jamie do. She thought. Ok Lottie, stay vigilant.

"I see we finally have you on our side." The man gave her a smile.

"I suppose all your hard work payed off," Lottie gave him a fake smile back. You can't be soft and strong, the words echoed in her head. "If I'm good enough."

"I'm sure you will be very helpful." The man grinned manically, looking extremely pleased.

"Thank you." Lottie sat down, twiddling her thumbs.

"You don't need to be scared of me, Eleanor." The man smirked.

Lottie didn't feel weird being called Ellie's name, as it had happened so often, but this time it sent a shiver down her spine.

"I'm not." Lottie murmured.

"Well, I'm off then," The man turned to the door, "enjoy the rest of your day."

Lottie waved him off and then lead on her bed. Her head was spinning.
She needed to stop thinking about herself. She just needed to find a way to get out of here, to protect Ellie. To protect Jamie.
