Ellie shoved the door open. She cautiously looked into the room and gasped. Lottie peeked round the door and practically turned into a waterfall. Ellie had never seen her dear friend cry so much. Anastacia was calmly sat on the bed. She was the only one who actually looked... Alive.

"Hello." She grinned manically.

"I will murder you." Ellie howled, jumping forward before Lottie could stop her.

"ELLIE NO!" She couldn't have her two best friends critically injured in one day.

"Lottie, run." Ellie shouted, pouncing on Anastacia, however Anastasia quickly dashed out the way.

"Ellie. No. You get out. Now." Lottie sounded commanding and serious. She sounded like a portman ready to fight for her princess. Which was exactly what she was. Lottie grabbed Ellie by the shoulders and looked her in the eyes.

"I love you both too much to lose you both in one day," Lottie said, pulling Ellie to the door, "get help."

Ellie didn't have to think twice. She knew what she had to do.

Anastacia was calmly sat on the bed again, looking like an emotionless ghost.

"Lottie?" A voice called from behind her.

"Binah!" Lottie ran to Binah, hugging her.

"I though you may need my help." Binah gave her a dazzling smile, before turning to Anastacia and looking scary. Lottie was shaking. She wasn't scared. She was angry.

Suddenly Ellie burst through the door, followed by professor Devine.

"What is going on in here?!" Professor Devine shouted, staring at the bodies on the floor.

Lottie couldn't speak.

"Professor, I believe our friends have been brainwashed." Binah said calmly.

"Why is it always you children?" She looked to Lottie.

"I have no idea Professor." Lottie stared at the ground.

"Binah, Ellie, please get some other students to help you take Jamie, Micheal, Dolores and  Raphael down to Nurse Sani," Professor Devine said calmly, "I would like to talk to Lottie."

"Miss Pumpkin," Professor Devine began, "I believe there is something you need to tell me."

Lottie shuddered. What did professor Devine want?

"Professor... I..." Lottie struggled to get the words out of her mouth. Then it hit her like a ton of bricks.

"Professor..." Lottie said, "I'm not sure we are safe here... Have you heard of leviathan?"

Professor Devine nodded, sighing deeply.

"Lottie, your last day of rosewood is tomorrow. I would like you, Jamie and Ellie to enjoy your last day."

"Thank you, professor." Lottie sighed. She didn't want to leave rosewood. It was her home.
