I speed back into STAR Labs and immediately search for Iris. My heart pounds in my chest as I scan the cortex. I breathe a sigh of relief as she walks out of the medbay. I walk over to her and pull her into a tight hug.
"I'm so glad you're safe."
"What are you talking about, Wally? Of course I'm safe, are you okay, Wally?" She looks at me, concerned.
I run a hand across my forehead to wipe off some sweat, "Yeah, I'm good. Where's Barry? I need to talk to him."
She freezes, "Are you sure you're okay, Wally?"
I feel my stomach drop, "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"
Her expression shifts a couple times before she speaks, "Barry died when we were kids...Wally. You know that."
My breath catches in my throat as I comprehend what she just said. I step back and fall against the wall, sliding to the ground.
"Wally...you're crying. I haven't seen you cry since Mom...," Iris comes over and lays her hand on my cheek.
"I..."
"Did you hit your head during the fight against Tremor? Caitlyn, could you ru-"
I stand up and wipe my face, "No. I'm fine. I just need to think."
I zoom out of the room.
