I shook my thick dark hair out of its ponytail as soon as the car jerked to a stop. Sliding my aviators off, I tucked them away into my purse.
I sighed, dreading what was going to happen soon.
My parents broke the news of the move just a few weeks ago. I was not excited to move back to say the least.
Back to the sun filled California.
Home of The Preparatory Academy.
Otherwise known as hell.
You see, 2 years ago, I went to that school trying to keep a low profile.
My grades decided to disagree.
I was top in my class, and the populars took advantage of that. For years they kicked me around, expecting me to do their homework.
I was bullied relentlessly, and all of my friends were turned against me. I groaned at the memory.
I got so fed up with it that I begged my parents to move. We've been living happily in London ever since.
Until my dad decided to take his old job back.
I stepped out of the car, trying to forget the past.
Today was Sunday. And tomorrow was Monday.
And I was going right back to The Preparatory Academy.
