Jungkook loved reading in the morning. Specifically, reading in the small coffee shop just before everyone from school comes bustling in, asking for orders.

It was something about the smell of the warm coffee, surrounding him while he was trapped in the lives of fictional characters. Jungkook loved the peaceful and happy vibes the silence of the coffee shop gave him.

But it didn't really last long. Jungkook would only get half an hour of reading before students from his college came in. Trying to get their coffee orders first because the party they had last night was wrecking havoc on them with a cruel hangover.

Jungkook's college was a pristine place. A squeaky clean plate. An iced out piece of jewelry. Meaning, no one ever thought bad about it. No bad names, no bad rumors. Like a clean criminal record.

But they don't see what happens on the inside.

Argentum Vexillum College ( A. V. C for short ) was well known for the wealth, wisdom and the so-called equality.

People were pushed down if not rich. Walked all over. You know the saying " money talks, bullshit walks. " Well in this case; money talks, and bullshit follows.

Like every school there were the groups of people. But this school had only three. Bronze, silver and gold. Gold were the elite people. Silver were the sheeps and bronze were the scholarships. You could go from silver to gold, gold to silver. But never from bronze.

In their eyes, you weren't worthy. So for people like Jungkook, brains wasn't enough to be known.

All the wrong people donned the right outfit and took the spotlight. While the right people worked backstage, making sure nothing went wrong.

The social ladder of AVC aggravated Jungkook so much. There were people in the bronze dorm that should be famous for their amazing top grades. Amazing talents. Amazing leadership skills. But no one bat any eyelashes towards them. Cuz what were they? People who didn't have money to get in. People who actually worked hard to get in.

Jungkook slammed his book shut, he sighed and looked at the time. 8:24 am. Six more minutes till everyone comes in. He decided to grab his coffee and leave holding his current read tightly in his now gloved hands.

Jungkook looked down on his way out, the little bell on the door, ringing. It was a cold autumn, and Jungkook always walked. Walking was so refreshing.

He looked up towards the clouds. Mesmerised. " Soft like silk. Dissipates away. Sweet like cotton candy. " Jungkook whispered softly to himself. He smiled crookedly and continued to mutter to himself, still looking up.

Jungkook, so lost in his own world didn't realise that there was other people on the road too. " Like memories fading awa- Oh! "

Jungkook walked straight into somebody, spilling his coffee all over that person.

The stranger hissed in pain. " Oh I'm so sorry. It was my fault. Oh look, I've ruined your clothes, and oh my! Your skin. Does it hurt? " Jungkook babbled away.

" It's alright. "  The boy said bluntly. That's when Jungkook looked up. And looked into grey eyes, tan skin and a deep frown. " A-are you sure? " Jungkook asked, looking at the boy's ruined coat. " Yeah. It's fine. " The boy took off his coat and Jungkook instantly felt bad. It was such a cold day.

" Here. " Jungkook said, taking his scarf off, and wrapping it around the boy.

" So you don't feel cold. And to make up for the coat. " Jungkook smiled at the boy, but the boy frowned deeper.

" Well, the name's Jungkook, and I'm sorry again. "

" I don't care, and I don't need the scarf. " The boy said, shoving the scarf back to Jungkook and walking off. Leaving Jungkook like a fish out of water.
