Chapter 22

Bruce's POV
I walk into the GCPD and head to Jim's office. I walk up the stairs and see him sitting in his office. I knock on the door. I hear his say come in and I open the door and walk in.
"You wanted to see me" I say.
"First I wanted to say congratulations on the baby and second there is a new threat to gotham" he says.
"Who" I ask.
"We don't know remember 5 years ago that guy who murder his victims after robbing them" he says.
"Yeah by burning them" Bruce says.
"Yeah well he is back. There has been 6 victims in the last 2 weeks. People have described him to have  ginger hair and looked to have white face paint on or he just had a really pale face" he says.
"They all saw this guy running away after the murder happened" Bruce asks.
"Yes the question is why is guy beginning again after so long" he asks.
"It started before me and Selina started dating. After Damien was born the attacks only happened a few times and then when the twins where born the attack's only happened every few months. Then when me and Selina left with the kids" I say.
"They stopped and since you came back they have started again" he says.
"Yeah but they have only started to happen the last 2 weeks since we  found out Selina was pregnant again" I say. He nods.
"It's like he is playing with us. The more kids you have the more people he is going to kill" Jim says.
"But why. Why is he killing more people because me and Selina are happy" I say.
"Maybe he finds your anger infuriating" he says.
"I don't know. How could he have even found out we haven't told anyone" I say. Jim looks at me for a few minutes.
"What if the guy who broke into our house after you left is this guy the killer" I say.
"Could be like if this guy is going off of your moves it is possible" he says. I sigh.
"I need to get home" I say.
"We can discuss this another time" he says. I grab my coat and head home.

I walk into the study and see Selina reading a book to the boys.
"Daddy" they say coming and hugging me. I put my coat down and hug them.
"Hey boys how was your day" I ask.
"It was so fun Aunt Tabs and Barbs came over today and then aunt lee came with Wyatt and we all played together" Damien says. I smile.
"That's sounds fun" I say.
"Boys you need to go to bed" Selina says. The boys groan.
"Boys I read you your book now you have to go to bed" she says. The boys pout before leaving the room. I laugh at her before sitting on the couch. Selina puts her legs on my lap and looks at me.
"How was your day" she asks. I sigh.
"That murder from when your where pregnant with Damien and after. He's back. Me and Jim Where reviewing it and it look like it might be connected with the break in a few years ago" I say. Her eyes widen.
"You mean the guy who broke into our house before we left might be the guy killing innocent people" she says. I nod and she breathes out in disbelief. She puts her head in her hands.
"I know that even if I said don't stress your going to because I know this situation is stressful. But you need to be careful with the baby" I say. She sighs.
"I know it's just hard to believe" she says. I put my hand on her.
"I know but think about the baby and what could happen if you don't destress. Babe I know how hard this is but we are going to be fine I know we are because we have our friends and we have each other" he says. She looks at me before smiling.
"You sappy" she says.
"I know" I say before kissing her. She pulls away and looks at me.
"We need to go put the kids to bed" she says getting up. I follow her and we leave the study.
