Chapter 23

Selina's POV
I sit in the sitting room. Bruce has been out since yesterday morning as he had some business to attend to outside of the city. The kids are sleeping on the couch and Alfred is doing something around the house.
I hear the doorbell ring. I get up quietly to make sure I don't wake the kids. I walk over to the door to see Alfred had opened and see Harvey standing there.
"Harvey What are you doing here" I ask. He takes his hat off.
"The plane that Jim and Bruce where in has gone down" he says.
"What do you mean it has gone down" I say putting my hand on my 4 month pregnant belly.
"The plane went down around 4 but we don't know where it is" he says. I breathe out as tears go down my face. Alfred wraps his arms around me.
"So you don't know where they are" I say. He shakes his head. I cry.
"Do you want me to call Tabitha" Alfred asks. I nod. He lets me go and walks over to the phone.
"Mommy why are you crying" I hear a voice say. I turn and see Richard.
"Nothing buddy it's just my emotions with the baby" I say. He nods.
"Hey why don't you, Timothy and Damien go to bed" I say. He nods and hugs me before going back into the sitting room. Alfred walks back over to us.
"I called Tabitha and Lee they said they will be over with Barbra soon" he says. I nod. I see the boys come out of the sitting room.
"We're going to be mommy" Timothy says. I whip my nose and nod.
"Ok Damien can you make sure your brothers get into bed properly" I say.
"Yes mommy" he says before they all come and hug me. I wrap my arms around them and hold in tears.
"Goodnight" I say.
"Night mommy" they say before walk up the stairs. Once I see them turn the corner I cry. I go and wrap my arms around alfred and cry on his shoulder.

After half an hour I hear the doorbell go. I get up and run to the door. I open it to see Tabitha, Barbra and Lee who was holding Wyatt. I wrap my arms around Tabitha. She hugs me.
"It's going to be ok. He is going to be ok" she says.
"They both are" she says. I nod as I cry in her shoulder.

Lee comes back after setting Wyatt down in Damien's bedroom. I sit on the couch looking at the tv. Alfred hands me a cup of tea.
"Drink this" he says. Barbra has her hand rested on my shoulder while Tabitha sits next to me.
"They are going to be fine" Barbra says to me and Lee.
"Billionaire Bruce Wayne and Gothams Police officer James Gordon have reportedly been in a plane crash. The plane set off from the airport at 3 o'clock today it was due to arrive at Gotham airport at 4:30pm though the plane never landed. Bruce Wayne the most wealthiest man in Gotham and father of 3 though has been reportedly expecting baby number 4 with wife Selina has been reportedly working on the murders of Gotham residents had gone out with Gordon to find out if the murders where linked to the ones outside of Gotham by 5 hours though that information has yet to been known. The search for the missing men is on going. If anyone has any information on the missing men or a sighting of the plane please contact the Gotham police department" the report of the television says. Lee hugs me.
"They have to be ok" she says.
"They have to be" she repeats.

After many hours there was still no information on them. After a while everyone fell asleep. I wake up and look at the clock. 4am. I turn around and look at the tv.

"Bruce Wayne and James Gordon have been found. The men where reportedly found only an hour ago in a wooded area the men are now heading back to Gotham" the report says. I sit up and shake Lee.
"Lee they have been found" I say.
"What" she says groggily.
"They found them" I say. She sits up and looks at the tv.
"Why are you guys taking so loud" Barbra says. She looks at the tv. I start to cry. I hold onto Lee and cry.
"Why is everyone crying" I hear a voice say behind me. Me and lee turn and see Jim and Bruce walk into the room.
"Jim" Lee says getting up and running over to him. She wraps his arms around him.
"Bruce, Jim" Alfred says walking in and hugging Bruce. I put my head in my hands and cry. Tabitha and Harvey hug the guys.
"Hey yeah I'm fine... let me see my girl" I hear Bruce say. I stand up.
"You ok babe" he says. I wrap my arms around him and cry.
"It's ok babe I'm here" he says. I hold onto him tighter.
"Don't ever do that again" I whisper.
"I won't" he whispers. Selina pulls away and puts her hands on the sides of his face and brings his lips to hers. Bruce wraps his arms around her waist. They pull away and Bruce puts his hand on her stomach. She smiles at him.
"What even happened" we hear Barbra Jim.
"We don't know the plane just started to malfunction" Jim says.
"I'm just glad your safe" Lee says giving him a peck on the lips.
"Well it's early why don't we all go to bed" Harvey says.
"You can all sleep in the guest bedrooms" Bruce says.
"Thank you Bruce" Lee says before everyone moves upstairs to the bedrooms. Selina wraps her arms around bruce and smiles at him.
"You know what day it is today" she says. He shakes his head.
"It's your birthday" she says.
"Happy 24th birthday B" she says. He smiles and kisses her.
