The day where she work towards her ultimate goal in life finally came. The day where Riko takes her first step towards being a hero; The Entrance Exam. In all honesty, Riko felt like time would never pass and the day would never come. She felt stuck in an endless cycle of training and studying, she had barely seen Shota at all in this time frame. However as if the world decided to prove her wrong, the day came and it filled her with many nerves.
Riko didn't walk with Shota to UA, she didn't want to feel special. She didn't want people to think the only reason she was getting into UA was because her adoptive father is pulling strings. She had left early for she wasn't able to stop fidgeting. In the end, she decided she just needed to take a nice jog to the lovely UA to get rid of her extra energy. Riko and Shota hadn't lived far from UA because they were both lazy and decided that they didn't want to walk too far each day to get there.
Speaking of which, Riko stopped her light jog and raised her head high. There it was, the number one hero school that everyone seems to buzz about, UA high. A shaky breath exited the black haired girl's slightly chapped lips. She took one step in and a huge grinned formed her face. Here she was, stepping in for the first time, on her way to become a hero. Suddenly a rough shoulder slammed into her harshly, causing her to stumble a couple feet forward.
"Out of my way, extra." A crazed blonde male glared at Riko, "Don't get in my fucking way. Just fucking leave, you won't be getting in." He turned around and 'walked' off seemingly all 'gangster' like. People like that really bothered Riko to the core, but she wasn't going to get into a fight and ruin her chances before she got to make a name for herself. So instead, she took a deep and and relaxed.
"What an asshole. Does he really think he can become a hero with that type of attitude?" Riko had murmured to herself, shaking her head in disbelief. Her footsteps echoed on once more as she was led into a room with over a thousand people. A slight shiver went down her spine, but she shook it off. There are many competitors, but that wasn't going to scare her off. Riko has been working too hard for this moment and her lazy ass wasn't going to give off due to the intimidation of the surrounding people.
Riko sighed as she sat next to a male with black hair and red eyes. A smile adorned his face as he turned towards the female, bowing to be polite. Riko returned the gesture, a smile also plaguing her features. "I'm Eijiro Kirishima, it's a pleasure to meet you! This is so manly~!" The last sentence wasn't meant to be heard by Riko's ears, but alas she heard and did quite the ungraceful snort.
A confused expression took over the male's face and Riko's grin couldn't help but widen even more. "Too cute." She hummed as a pink hue brushed over the male's cheeks. "Yeah, it is quite manly, isn't it? However it is also womanly." Her signature lopsided grin had caught Kirishima off guard.
"You heard that, huh?" A sheepish expression only made Kirishima cuter as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Womanly, too. I agree. Didn't mean to leave you out, bro." A chuckle passed Riko's lips. The female was about to respond to him, but was interrupted by a loud voice. Dread filled her body as she desperately looked for something to clog her ears with.
"Welcome to today's live performance~!" Hizashi's loud voice took over the crowd, each and every person becoming silent. "Everybody say, 'Hey~!'" His hand lifted to his ear as he expected the crowd to roar, but not a single person gave in. "Well that's cool, my examinee listeners!" A grin overtook his face, "I'm here to present the guide lines of your practical!! Are you ready?!" Riko groaned as her hand slid down her face, Kirishima giving her a questioning glance.
"Hizashi!" Riko barked, her nerves on edge, "Just give us the details!" She groaned, a huff escaping her lips. She only just realized her mistake as many people were giving her both glares and looks of curiosity. Riko shrunk in her seat as Kirishima reached over and pat her shoulder comfortingly, giving her a meaningful glance.
