Chapter Twenty-Two

~ Justice ~

*skip to the dinner*

Matt told me to dress in something presentable and nice so I pick out a teal crop top, with a grey cardigan and a black skater skirt with some white Chuck Taylor's. I let my hair down naturally and start walking downstairs. Once I reach the last step, Matt's hands went around my waist, making me jump.

"Why'd you jump babe?" he says with a smirk growing on the corner of his lips.

"Oh, I don't know maybe if Espinosa over here didn't sneak up behind me all the time, I would be fine" sarcastically I reply.

He chuckles and grabs my hands. Before we even touch the door, cuddles comes running down, then stop and stares at us. I weakly smile at her and tell her we need to go, and will be back.

She whimpers and runs upstairs, I gurantee cuddles can hear english. I made sure to put water and food in her bowl before we left. Matt opens the passenger seat door and I thank him.

He gets in the drivers seat and he looks so nervous.

"Matt, its gonna be okay, I will be on my best behaivor" I wink.

Matt laughs slightly and calms down. We then drive off to his house.

We reach his house, and then I start getting nervous.

What if they don't like me, am I smelly, hopefully I don't look like a wreck.

I guess Matt noticed i was nervous so he started calming me down.

"Justice, your going to be fine, they will love you"

I nod and then my palms start getting sweaty; I must really be nervous.

We reach his door and his mom opens the door.

"Oh my goodness, hey stranger" she's says jokingly to matt.

Matt smiles and says hi back. Then he introduces me to his mom.

"Mom, this is justice, justice this is my mom"

She shakes my hand and introduces her self.

"Hi justice, you can just call me Sarah"

She smiles and lets us in. I look around and her house is beautiful. My thoughts get interrupted by her saying stuff.

"Hey Justice, how about you and Matt go in his room, and I will finish up with dinner" she says polietly.

I nod and we walk into Matts room. The first thing I see is his football poster and his room painted blue. I hear Matt's mom call him so I just stand there and look.

~ Matt ~

I hear my mom call my name so I walk to wherever she is. She ends up being in the hallway staring.

Ummm okay then?

"Mom you wanted me?"

"Yeah are you still dating Emily?"

I sigh and ask my mom why is she wondering.

"Because, I want justice to be hurt, not physically, mentally, remember when you told me she was abused, yeah do something like that, except not touching her, if you don't do it I will do it for you"

I gulp and nod. When my mom says something, you better do it or stuff gets ugly. She shoos me off and I go back into my room with Justice.

I see Justice laying on my bed curled up in a ball. Mentally I awe and go climb on the bed, I pull her hips towards me softly and we just lay there spooning.

I will not let my mom or myself hurt justice, after all she's been through and I promised. I might have to think about moving away with Justice, I am eighteen. Her mom would have to approve obviously.

Justice shuffles around then wakes up, looks around and saw me. She jumped a little before putting her face in the pillow.

"Why do you keep jumping babe" I chuckle.

She laughs and starts talking in her adorable voice.

"Is dinner ready?" She asks

I nod and we go both get up to go eat the dinner.

My mom sees justice and glares at her, and I see her glaring so I glare at my mom.

She smiles innocently once justice looks over to her. If only justice knew how dangerous she is..

We all sit down and we pass down the food to each other. I've been noticing justice is so delicate with everything including the food.

~ Justice ~

Matts mom is so polite I love her already. I haven't seen his dad I wonder where he is? If only I had a mom and dad..

"So justice how old are you?" Mrs. Espinosa asks.

"Oh, I am seventeen and I'm going into eleventh grade in a week" I smile

She does an expression between a smile and a frown I don't even know what that was.

"What do you wanna be when you grow up"

Matt quickly answered for me.

"She wants to be a singer, to make people happy by singing".

How did he know that?!

I looked at Matt and he smirked. After we were done eating Matt rushed us out of the house.

"What are you doing?!" I snap

Matt drags me to the car and we both get in. Then he starts driving off.

Umm what the heck?

"Matt what is going on" I look at him.

"My mom..
