I walk out of my house to see Peeta Melark. Mellark........ wow Katniss Melark. DAMN YOU SELF! I give my self a mental slap as I walk over to peeta I hear gale! DAMN I was having a moment! I turn around and don't know what to say to him. I'd much rather be talking to Peeta or Primrose right now but instead I'm talking to gale.... not anything against him but I'm in a weird mood.
"Hey!" I say kind of snappy. "Hey there Catnip!" "I have to go to Greasy sae's." I lie as I March away! I actually go to the Melark bakery to " trade" a squirrel..
"Hello Mister Mellark" "Hello miss Everdeen" he says mocking my tone.
"I have two squirrels to trade for two cinnamon buns." He passes me the cinnamon buns and I start to walk out. "Oh I almost forgot can I speak to Peeta please" "Oh yes PEETA GET DOWN HERE!"
"Hey" I say kind of shy.
"Hey" he replies. He grabs my hand and leads me to a beautiful spot in the woods. (Oh god that's so cheesy)
"So you wanted to talk?" "No I wanted to see you...."Well try to catch me" I say as I scurry up a tree. "Katniss you know I can't climb!" Can I at least have a award?" I think quietly. "Mabye...." I mumble "can I pick my reward? "Fine!" I say rather annoyed "Yay I'm looking forward to a kiss!" He says as he climbs faster "😲WHAT I YELL?!?!" "Well have fun" I say as I switch tree's. "KATNISS!??!?!" he yells
He finally gets up and sits next to me.
He senses how uncomfortable I am...
"I'm not gonna make you kiss me.." Peeta says....... "a promise is a promise" I say as I lightly give him a peck on the lips.....
