A/N: The song above is for later on in the chapter! So if you wanna wait or listen before, you do you!
Honey's P.O.V (When Higa first walks in)
Takashi and I were eating delicious cake with our customers when everyone suddenly got quiet. I turn towards whoever stepped in and I saw the cutest girl ever!
Though she looks really scary when she's angry...
I didn't notice my grip loosening over the fork in my hand, and soon the fork hit the ground. No one really paid attention because the focus was on Tama-chan walking up to the pretty girl. I feel Takashi staring at me, but I choose to ignore him; we watch the scene unfold and when the girl starts crying, something in me gets really angry at Tama-chan!
Takashi puts a hand on my shoulder and I calm down; wondering why I got even mad in the first place! Soon all the customers were gone and it was just the host club and this new girl. When everyone makes their way to her I get really excited because I want to be best friends with this girl! I will get her to say her name to me-
"Higa Kobayashi." she states to everyone.
oh guess I won't ;-;.
Kyoya makes all the introductions and Higa-chan has a conversation with him. They get into a bit of banter but it's not nice! When they finish and I get a new fork, Tamaki suggests she join the club. I was about to go greet her when Takashi held me back.
"Wait she isn't ready." he stated coolly. I nod and watch from the other side of the room.
But if one thing's for sure, I'm gonna get her to like me no matter what it takes!
Higa's P.O.V. (Present)
The bell for lunch rings and my mood dampens immediately, because now is the time when the host club is going to give me a role in their club. I start making my way to the abandoned music room trying to think of ways to get out.
Maybe I can fall and pretend to have amnesia? No, Kyoya will know I'm lying.
Hmmm... maybe I can pay Kyoya off? Nah he probably wants to see me suffer.
Sooner than I thought I had arrived at the music room, while taking a deep breath I open the door and wait for the bright light and rose petals.
But it didn't come, and for that I was grateful.
I walk into the giant music room to see no one is in it, I see a grand piano at the far left side and next to it a beautiful cello. I freeze when noticing it, and subconsciously made my way to it. The cello sat on a black stand and next to it is a black velvet bag, most likely containing the bow and rosin. Something in me was pushing to play, for my mom, but another side of me wanted to run away from the beautiful instrument.
Play my sweet darling, just like old times.
I look around hastily trying to find my mother, but she wasn't in the room with me physically. I open the velvet bag with shaky hands and pull out the tools I need and start putting rosin on the bow. When I'm finished I grab a chair, the cello, and start playing my mother's favorite tune (play song above now!).
While I'm playing I feel a warm aura around me as if my mom was sitting right in front of me; her auburn hair falling right on her shoulders, her green orbs shining with pride as she watched me play this beautiful tune. Thinking about my mother while playing always makes me cry, so when I felt tears falling from my face I didn't bother wiping them.
Then my thoughts went to my dad, that cheater! How could he endanger his wife like that! And to cheat on her with her number one enemy! He never cared about her or me, otherwise he wouldn't have given in to temptations!
My tears now dried, and my playing becoming faster, so fast that I break the bow against the beautiful cello. I start breathing heavily and so focused on my anger and hatred for my father, that I didn't notice the crowd of hosts watching me in both awe and confusion. After calming down, I hear voices filled with such excitement I almost forgot my pain.
"THAT WAS SO AMAZING HIGA-CHAN!" Honey squealed.
"WHO KNEW A BEAUTIFUL CELLIST WAS UNDER THAT SCARY FACADE!" Tamaki yelled.
"I see that you found your talent Higa, quite magnificent indeed." Kyoya stated while writing in his black book.
I turn to make eye contact with Haruhi with true genuine tears in my eyes. I smile and nod my head trying to speak but my voice rebelled. The twins get on either side of me and put their hands on my shoulders.
"Boss-" Hikaru started.
"We have a cellist on our hands!" Kaoru finished.
"No. You have a musician on your hands." I smile, "I know how to play many instruments, I was once known as the 'new mozart' as a child."
When I turn to the host club everyone looked shocked besides Kyoya. Even Mori had shown interest. When my mother passed I vowed to never play again, since she was the fuel to my playing. Seeing her so proud of me when I played was a reward that I never got tired of receiving.
"Very well." Tamaki said while he points his finger dramatically at me, "Starting today you are the Musical Type!"
(-_-#)
"I SAID I WASN'T GOING TO HOST!" I yell.
Tamaki falls into his emo corner while the twins laugh their butts off.
"Well Higa, statically speaking, women and men are more attracted to people with talents. The fantasy of being serenaded is quite popular and will surely add much profit to the club. Although you may need to do some small talk, you'll be mostly playing." Kyoya stated firmly.
"Ok I'll do it." I say with determination.
So now I'm a host... great.
A/N: Here's a chapter for you guys! School starts tomorrow so I will try very hard to keep up with writing new chapters! Have a great night/day!
