An Unexpected Visit

A/N: I absolutely love this song and it makes me cry every time. I know during this time is very rough with the protests, so I hope this story can bring a little escape from the cruel reality we live in right now. Please please please stay safe out there.

Higa's P.O.V (As she exits the room)

As I left the club room, there was a tugging at my chest. I knew what Kyoya said was right the moment it left his lips. My mother would've been appalled at my behavior. She would hate what I have become since she passed, everyone knew that especially Mimi.

I soon made my way to the front of the school, I didn't even bother to call Lee, Lila's father, to come get me.

Guess a walk would be nice I thought.

As I made my way out of the gates to the pink school I remember I forgot to even tell them when the unveiling was, but that can wait for tomorrow...

"HIGA-CHAN WAIT UP!" a familiar bubbly voice yelled out. Taking a deep sigh I stopped in my tracks and turned towards the upperclassmen.

"Do you mind if we walk with you Higa-Chan?" Honey asked with a huge smile.

"Yea why not. I don't really know which way I'm going anyway." I mumbled. Honey seemed to ignore that last part as he was sprouting a bunch of pink flowers everywhere.

"Do you wanna stop by a bakery or something, it'll be nice to hang out just us right!?" He spewed with excitement.

"Honey I don't eat-" I started but Takashi cut me off.

"Coffee." He deadpanned.

"C-coffee sounds good." I said while trying to calm down the giddiness that threatened to fall from my lips.

"Let's go then!" Honey smiled as he smuggled usa-chan.

All three of us started our adventure, Honey would talk most of the time while Takashi and I nodded or occasionally spoke. It was nice to hang out with people other than Lila, trust me I love her like a sister but we never go exploring outside of the house limits.

We walked for about 20 minutes or so until we came across a very familiar bakery logo sign. I stopped dead in my tracks causing Honey to stop talking and turn to me with curious eyes.

"What's wrong Higa-chan? Don't you want coffee?" Honey asked curiously. I don't know what came over me but I turned cold.

"Not this coffee." venom laced in my tone. It was her coffee chain, I won't ever go in there and give her my business after what she did.

"What's wrong with this?" Honey prodded. I felt a strong hand on my shoulder.

"Mitskuni." Takashi warned. I seemed to ease a bit, knowing that it wasn't his fault.

"Let's go to my house, my aunt will be more than welcoming and she has better cake and coffee anyway." I suggested trying to ease the mood.

"If that's ok with you Higa-chan it's ok with us!" Honey smiled, all traces of confusion gone.

"Let's go to that bench and I'll call my aunt and let her know." I stated, more to myself though.

As the phone rang, I couldn't help but feel bad that the other hosts weren't coming. I didn't think it was fair that only two of them came, but I was kinda closer to them I guess?

"HIGABANA WHERE ARE YOU!" My aunt cried into the phone.

"I'm sorry but my excuse is legit and you'll be happy~" I sang out.

"You got me a new mixer~?" My aunt sang back. I giggled trying to hold in my laughter.

"Better, I have some friends that want to come over and meet your delicious cake." I stated while looking at the two cousins. Honey had a faint blush while Mori had a very very very small smile. Weird.

"OH YAY! BRING THEM OVER RIGHT AWAY!" My aunt shrieked.

"Roger that!" I saluted. As I hung up I sent my location to Lee and he said he'll be there in 2 minutes since he went to the market for my aunt.

"So why are you guys acting all weird." I bluntly asked.

"Well... you giggled and it was just so cute!" Honey blushed while smiling. Now it was my turn to blush.

"O-oh right uh... I guess it was weird huh." I nervously scratched my neck.

"Not weird, just... nice." Takashi stated with a smile.

"Don't tell the rest of the host club or you'll never come over again." I threatened in a serious tone. Both boys nodded their head.

Guess being their friend won't be too bad. A few moments later Lee showed up and to say he was shocked was an understatement. He looked kinda angry honestly.

"Miss, I'm here to take you back the estate." He said kindly to me.

"Lee I told you to call me Higa." I pouted.

"And I told you to call me uncle, although I see you more as a daughter instead." He smiled but glared at the boys.

"They are good ones uncle, no need to worry." I genuinely smiled at the smiling man.

"I see. Let's all head to the estate then." Lee happily opened the door for me.

As we climbed into the limo I couldn't help but smile at the two friends I'm getting close to, maybe ouran won't be too bad.

~TIME TRAVELING IS FUN~

As we got to the estate, I got very nervous. What if Mimi tells them what happened? Or she says something that I need to explain?

Oh well I'll deal with it when I get there.

I knock on the big oak door, although our estate may look like a small cottage the inside was huge. Lily opened the door and smiled when she saw me but blushed at the two boys behind me.

"Welcome home Higa and are these your friends you've told me about?" She asked quietly so they couldn't hear.

"Two of them yeah, the others will be at the unveiling." I stated. She nodded and moved to the side so we could enter the house.

"So you talk about us Higa-chan?" Honey exclaimed.

"Yea they need to know where I am at all times" I sighed, "AUNT MIMI?"

"IN THE KITCHEN!" She replied back.

I led the two boys towards my aunts voice, but what I wasn't ready for was the extravagant sweets layout she made. Obviously she thought the entire club was coming, maybe I should invite them? Is it too late?

"Higa, where are the others if you invite a couple you must invite them all where are your manners!" Aunt Mimi laughed. I blushed and looked at the ground.

"It was unexpected but I can call them all right now!" I rambled.

"Don't worry Higa-chan, Takashi went to call them as soon as he saw the table!" Honey smiled. As if on cue Takashi came in with a small smile.

"They will be here soon." I nodded as my aunt cried.

"We haven't had visitors in a long time and I guess I got carried away! You will all stay for dinner after you test all my new recipes!" She beamed.

I've never seen her this happy and I wasn't going to ruin it for her. Even if I have to face Kyoya.

Ah shit I'm gonna have to apologize.

"Don't worry Higa-chan, it'll be ok." Honey said as he put his hand on my shoulders, the once cute aura gone into one of calmness.

"Thanks Mitskuni." I beamed at him. He started blushing like crazy and his grip on usa-chan tightened.

"Higa why don't you show our guests the music room. I heard you've been playing again." My aunt's eyes turned glossy at the mention of my playing.

"Of course. This way." I bowed.

Mimi's P.O.V

As I watched Higa walk away with Mitskuni and Takashi I couldn't help the tear that slipped down my face. I was so grateful this group entered her life.

They'll make everything heal, and I hope you're watching all of this unfold Rea. She needs you now more than ever.
