Regina shut down her laptop and placed it on the table.
"Now what Emma? Can't I just settle things with my lawyer first before anyone starts talking?"

Emma crossed her hands on her chest and bowed down her head.
"I didn't mean to be harsh on you. Forget what I said... Talk to me"
Regina said the moment she saw Emma miserable. Emma's cheeks blushed and her body got tight. She was nervous.

Regina could see that. She stretched her hand and touched Emma's jaw, pushing her head up. She looked Emma right in the eyes and Emma bit her lips. She couldn't even look at Regina in the eyes. She cracked her fingers and cleared her throat.

"I wanted to know your thoughts on that kiss we shared..." Emma finally said kept her eyes on the floor. She was afraid that Regina would freak out and start becoming nervous too and end up feeling nervous around each other when they would be in the house alone.

Regina smiled broadly and held Emma's hands.
"I knew." Was the only thing that came up in her brain the time she heard Emma's words. She wanted to confirm her thoughts on Emma's opinion. From the other side she felt nervous too. Was she ready to move on after what Daniel did to her?

Emma was different. She knew that. she had a heart made of gold and she was definitely really attractive and sexy. But Regina was hesitant. She used to think Daniel had a kind soul too, but ends up torturing her.

"Really? How?" Emma asked. She thought she had managed hide her feelings for the brunette.
"Call it a feeling."
"So... What do you think about it?"
That was the question Regina wanted to avoid. She wasn't sure if that was the right thing. She had a baby on the way, and Henry her own son shared two mothers.

Was it natural to be in a relationship with Emma when Henry was between them? Would he freak out?
"There are so many reasons why I wanna say I liked it and wanna keep doing it, but there are a few reasons stopping me Emma..."

Emma face lit up when she heard Regina talking but in the end she started feeling like things wouldn't work out with them.
"And what are those reasons about?"
"I think you're an extraordinary woman miss swan. You're sexy, kind and definitely my type, but we share a kid together. Henry might be displeased with us in a relationship. Also I feel like what Daniel did to me... Keeps me behind of moving on."

Emma smiled shyly and held Regina's hand.
"I know my son Regina. He won't be bothered about us. Instead he will be happy we both finally found happiness. Remember how much important to him is seeing you happy?" Emma mentioned and made Regina smile for a sec.

"what about Daniel then? I don't think I can forget all those horrible scenes. They keep replaying in my head like a movie. When I go to sleep at night I can smell his disgusting sent. I can feel his hands wrapped around on my waste and his voice whispering to my ear. It's a nightmare."
Regina body trumbled.

"Then we could wait till you feel better. You can always visit Archie to share those nightmares with him. He is an expert Regina... He can help you."

Regina rolled her eyes.
"I don't need help from anyone. Specially a psychiatrist."
Regina said and crossed her hands.
"He will do good to you honey... He can help you get through it. It's not a bad thing visiting a psychiatrist. It will be good for you to get that out of your chest and listen to an expert's advice."

Emma looked hopefull. Regina smiled slightly.
"Maybe I could give it a try. I'll visit him tomorrow."
"No! You're going there right now!"

Emma insisted and gave Regina her coat and her car keys.
"I'll be waiting for you here with a delicious pizza as reward!"

Regina laughed at Emma's insist and stood up wearing her coat. She never imagined anyone could actually made her change her mind and do something she didn't want to. Emma had that ability and she was good at it. She wore he coat and kissed Emma on the forehead.
"Thank you." She whispered before walking out of the house. She got into her house. It was raining outside... It was a cold and lonely night. But she knew she had Emma at home...

She wouldn't return at her house with that monster captured in there. She would hug her kind and beautiful Emma. She reached Archie's office and knocked the door. He opened the door holding his coat and umbrella and a pack of files. He looked uncomfortable. He smiled when he saw her.

She helped him by taking the bag he was holding and waved at him.
"Guess I'm late and you're done for today?"
She asked him but he saw the desperation in her eyes.
"Yes but I got time for you madam mayor."
"You can call me Regina." She corrected him and smiled.

He left his things on his desk and led Regina in the room. He told her to sit on the black leather couch in front of them and she did as he said.
"So what's your problem?"

"It's kind of complicated actually... There are so many things happening and I don't think I can handle them..."
"Regina please you can talk openly to me. Nobody will find out about your issues..I won't say a single word."

She imidiately felt more comfortable.
"I have to be at court in three days claiming the rights of a full custody on my baby... My former husband Daniel... He was violent and he rapped me ..." Her eyes watered and her voice cracked.

He rubbed her shoulder.
