Jax takes a sharp left turn and continues to drive down a back road leading to Carson Drive.
"Where are we going?" Lucy asks. Irration in her voice. Jax rolls his eyes.
"I'm going to check out Luke's house. To see if he's there and work a plan out from there." He replies. They pass a bunch of two story houses. More of the strange creatures are roaming around in random front yards, back yards, and even in some of them are in some houses.
"Why do we need to go find him?" She automatically asks. He rolls his eyes.
"Listen, sugarcake."
"Sugarcake?! What kind of dam nickname is that?!" He shrugs his shoulders.
"Your're free to leave this town whenever you like. Either shut that mouth of yours or get out of this car and find some way out of this city on your own." Jax puts the car in park in front of the house.
He gets out of the car and slams the door behind him. Andrew follows him. Lucy rolls her eyes and hestiantly follows the boys onto the front porch. Jax tries to open the front door, but it will not budge.
"This is a waste of time." Lucy immediately snaps.
Jax quickly smirks in response. He fishes a hairpin from his jacket pocket. He slips the pin into the lock on the doorknob. He quickly unlocks the door and glances back at Lucy. She once again, rolls her eyes.
They all step into the house. Everything is perfectly normal and untouched despite what is currenlty happening outside.
"I'm going to look upstairs. Andrew." Jax says while reaching into his jacket pocket. His brother turns to look up at him with wide eyes.
"Yeah?"
"I want you to check the down stairs. Look for Luke and if you see any of those things kill it." He replies while taking a pistol out of his pocket and checking the chamber. Andrew's eyes go wide.
"Where do you get a gun?" Lucy steps back a bit.
"There's a lot of thing you don't know about me, little brother." He messes up Andrew's locks before heading upstairs.
Suddenly, the font door falls into the main hallway. Lucy and Andrew turn to look at the door. To their horror more of the creatures have wondered onto the propery while they were busy arguing and talking out some kind of plan. Their flesh is rotteing away while blood pours from their cuts or other places where they were attacked or injuried.
"Come on, Lucy. We have to get out of here, right now." Andrew says while grabbing her arm and trying to get up the staircase. Sadly, one of the creatures grab her foot. She falls down and causes Andrew to loose his balance and hit his back against the stair railing.
One of the flesh eaters immedialtely sinks his teeth into her ankle. She screams at the top of her lungs. Andrew pushes himself up just as a couple of more of them crowds the main hall. He grabs Lucky's arm and drags her up the stairs.
He takes a left turn and comes to a opened bedroom door. He walks into the room to find his brother reloading his gun.
"We need to leave, now."
Andrew says. Luke nods his head in resopnse as the undead make their way upstairs.
Luke makes his way to the bedroom window and opens it all the way. Luke climbs through the window and Andrew follows him. Lucy hestaintly follows the boys.They both climb down the roof and land gracefully on their feet on the ground. They race back around the house and to his car.
They all get into the car and Jax drives onto the highway and heads away from Carson drive.
