where seungcheol likes holding jeonghan's hands in secret

jeonghan didn't know when it started but seungcheol has been holding his hands secretly. he would hold his hands under the table during fan meetings, inside the car, or during photoshoot breaks. and somehow the other members didn't notice them.

at this very moment jeonghan feels seungcheol intertwining his fingers with his. they were out in the public at a ramyeon place and jeonghan couldn't help but pull away.

it's not like he didn't like it. it's because he was ashamed of doing something outside the standards that they are given. he is scared to go against the netizens because it might break the whole group up.

seeing two idols holding hands might not seem a big of a deal but for jeonghan it is.

jeonghan is slowly falling for the boy. not only because of his clinginess but also because of his smile, his personality, the way he treats him, or to sum it up, basically just everything about him.

he is scared that if someone is too find about his secret fan accounts of seungcheol, the said boy would leave him and the whole group will tear apart.

in this short time of thinking about the reasons he shouldn't allow seungcheol to do this, he didn't notice the boy frowning slightly and keeping his hands to himself.

after all, it was the first time jeonghan had retracted his hand from seungcheol's.

the whole meal was quiet and full of tension and it continued on until they reached the dorms.

as they arrived, they both quickly went to their rooms, both contemplating on whether asking or talking to each other.

their contemplating was too long. it had been 3 days after they had the thick tension.

in those three days, they didn't joke around and talk to each other, except when needed. they were extremely awkward and seungcheol has never held jeonghan's hand.

jeonghan, during those three days, have felt lonely. his hands felt empty and he knew that avoiding seungcheol wasn't going to help his feelings for the latter, which were getting stronger.

he knew that he had to confess so he went to go to the older's room.

but upon opening the door to get out of his room to go to seungcheol, he was surprised to see the said male in front of him.

faces inches apart he quickly backed up and lowered his head to attempt to hide his cheeks which were heating up. he failed miserably though because he ears were getting red of embarrassment.

he motioned seungcheol to come in to avoid attention and told him to wait before going quickly to the bathroom, to calm himself down.

after a little talk to his mirror he went outside and sat beside seungcheol.

"uhm, why are you here?"

jeonghan asks, voice trembling out of nervousness.

"i have something to say."

seungcheol replies.

"what a coincidence, i also have something to say."

jeonghan says trying to calm his self down.

"why don't you say it first?"

seungcheol said being the handsome, amazing, gorgeous, powerful, deadly boy he is. which by the way works too well on jeonghan because he had no choice but to nod slightly.

"u-uhmm..."

jeonghan clears his throat.

"i'm sorry that i retracted my hand before,"

seungcheol was about to speak but jeonghan motioned him to let him continue.

"the truth is i was ashamed. i was ashamed of liking another member. i was ashamed i couldn't fit into our fans standards. i was ashamed. now, i kinda feel a little confidence. i like you seungcheol, maybe a little more than a friend does and that's why we shouldn't hold hands. i might fall in deeper. please still be my friend. i can manage i love this group too much to go away."

jeonghan said, accepting the fact he lose his friend and crush.

silence soon followed. luckily amd unluckily it was broken by seungcheol. jeonghan was about to faint because of nervousness and this wasn't an exaggeration.

"i like you too jeonghan, maybe a little more than you do."

seungcheol says.

"its okay seungcheol."

jeonghan says until what seungcheol said quickly set to him.

"waiiittttt... what?! please repeat what you said.."

jeonghan said not believing seungcheol.

"what? that i like you and might even love you?"

that was all it takes for jeonghan to hug  apillow next to him because of the feels or in filipino, kilig.

"hey why are you hugging your pillow?"

seungcheol asked quite disappointed since he wanted jeonghan to hug him.

"well, you might not like my hugs aaanndd its embarass-"

jeonghan was quickly stopped as seungcheol hugged him and kissed his forehead. you could say jeonghan was a tomato after that.

they both fell asleep side by side cramped but comfy together.

the next day, they talled to the members and the company(?) they were in about their relationship. after all, pledis and seventeen was their family even if they approve or not.

they approved. which was unbelievable but they did. they were allowed to announce it publicly because the company knew that the true carats are much greater than the carats who force their standards on the boys.

even though they were publicly accepted, it became seungcheol and jeonghan's habit to secretly hold hands.
