"Leah, you should probably eat" Mason says, looking at my untouched food. It's been sitting there for about an hour now.

"I'm not hungry Mas" I say shaking my head. That was a mistake.

A sharp pain runs from behind my eyes to the back of my head, causing me to place my pounding head in my hands. Hoping to ease the pain.

"Leah? Are you okay? Should I get a doctor?" Mason says, worry filling his voice.

"No, no, I'm fine. My head is just pounding?" I say slowly lifting it up, my eyes still closed.

Mason grabs my hand, tighter than before.

My phone beeps and I open my eyes.

"Mason, can you read that for me?" I ask and he nods, picking up my phone.

"It's Grace. She wants to know if you can face time" Mason says and I nod.

"Yeah, call her and you can talk to her. I have to use the restroom" I say, trying to sit up.

I hiss, the pain unbearable and causing me to get lightheaded.

"Hold on, let me help you. I should probably call a nurse for this" He says.

At that time a nurse comes in.

"Oh sweetie, what's the matter? Do you need help getting somewhere?" She asks.

"Um, I just need to use the restroom but I think I can get there myself" I say and she shakes her head.

"No, you need help. You are in very bad condition. Young man, can you please help me?" She says and Mason nods, running over to me.

They slowly help me to the bathroom and Mason tells her, he can help me back to the bed after.

"Give Grace a call. You know my password" I say and he nods, opening my phone.

"Mason? Hey. Where's Leah? And where are you?" The phone says as I open the bathroom door.

"Hold on one second Grace" He says and he places the phone down and helps me back into bed.

"Thanks Mas. I'm here Grace" I say picking up the phone.

Graces eyes practically fall out of her head at the sight of me. Her mouth, gaping at me in fear.

"Leah, what the fück happened to you?" She says, tears welling up.

"Something upset me so I ran a red light and here I am" I say, my breathing short.

"Leah, you cant do that. If something upsets you, you should talk to someone about it. Don't run away, or in this case, drive away from your problems" She says and I nod, knowingly.

"Yeah, I know. I was being stupid" I say.

"Yes, well I will text you later. You need some rest. Goodnight Leah. Feel better and keep me updated" She says and she hangs up.

"Le, I'm gonna go to sleep now. Wake me if you need anything" He says and I smile, nodding.

It's been an hour and I can't sleep no matter how hard I try. Mason must have brought me headphones because theres a pair sitting on the table next to me. I quietly grab them. I might as well watch some of The Vampire Diaries.

Halfway through the second episode I get bored.

My headache is gone but the pain in my side is worse than it was before. This might not work too well.

I keep my bed up, not wanting to wake Mason up, since his head is laying on the bed. He must be so uncomfortable.

Just think of something that made you happy Leah. It will take your mind away from the pain and you will be able to sleep
