~Leahs P.O.V.~

Today we are going to the beach. I only have one bikini and its a little small on me.

I got home late last night so I'm exhausted.

I get my green bikini top on and throw the white bottoms with palm leaves on. I put a tank top and some shorts on and throw my flip flops on. Stuffing a towel, sunblock and some water in a bag I put simple makeup on.

When I was a kid I used to go to the beach every chance I got. Grace and Luke lived on the beach. It was always the highlight of my week. I remember always trying to surf. I got good at it towards the end but she was always better than me.

"Hey babe" Mason knocks on the door, walking in.

"Hey" I kiss his cheek.

"Up for a quickie?" Mason smirks.

"Dirty boy. Dirty little boy" I sing out, picking up my bag.

He shakes his head, laughing.

"I can't wait to see you in that bikini" He rubs his hands together, smiling.

"Don't get ahead of yourself, I'm not taking this off" I laugh.

"What? Why not?" He whines, pulling on my arm.

"Mason" I urge him to stop making a big deal out of it as we walk to the car.

"Leah, you gotta show off that bod girl. If you got it, might as well flaunt it" He shakes his shoulders.

"What got you in such a great mood?" I try and change the topic.

"I'm going to the beach with my girl and some of my friends. Why wouldn't I be in a good mood" He smiles.

"You're adorable" I laugh, getting in the car.

"Thank you, love" He kisses my cheek, starting the car.

"But seriously, why don't you want to wear your bikini?" He questions, rubbing my arm.

"It shows a lot of my really bad scars Mason" I sigh, getting self conscious.

"Babe, look at me" He picks my chin up.

"You're gorgeous. Your scars make you, you. They are proof that you are stronger than anyone else. You had a hardship that you overcame. They make you even more beautiful" He pushes my hair back. "Do what you feel comfortable with, but you're gorgeous regardless of a scar or not. Okay?" He places a light kiss on my lips.

I nod, my mouth suddenly dry. I love this man.

"Thank you Mas" I give him a light smile as he pulls out.

"I've always got your back babe" He takes my hand into his.

Mason hands me the aux, letting me put on our shared playlist and we listen to music while enjoying the scenic drive and each others company.

"I can't believe we're done" I lean my head back.

"I know, its crazy" Mason shakes his head.

I'm tempted to ask the dreaded question of if we're going to try long distance or not.

"Lets just enjoy our summer together, okay?" Mason reads my mind, kissing my hand.

I nod, letting the wind blow through my hair.

The drive seems short since Mason and I never stopped talking or singing. It was fun.

When we get to the beach we find a spot and wait for everyone else.
