I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during this time.
This is a topic I need to address.
I may not have the largest following but this book has quite a few readers and if I can use this platform for anything, it's going to be this.
I am a 16 year old white female. I do not understand, but I will stand with you. This is something that I feel extremely strongly about. I am brought to tears thinking about all the innocent lives lost. I stand with the Black Lives Matter movement and nothing will change that. This is extremely unfair and something that should be made a big deal. Innocent lives are being lost and discarded because of race?? Absolutely sickening. We all bleed the same color. We're all human. We need to use or voices and stand up for the right thing. This IS the right thing. There is no excuse for discrimination and abuse towards different races. I am privileged, I don't understand. But I will use my voice and I will use it for good.
To all my black readers and supporters: I love you, I support you, and I am always here for you. I stand with you and I promise to always, no matter what.
