I hate me too but I haven't had wattpad for a while. I don't actually know my password and my computer wouldn't let me on so I had to wait until my phone had storage. That being said... I'm sorry for the cliffhanger and the 6 month wait but fear not. Hopefully, this will be good enough for you to accept my apology.
Without further ado, I give the, Chapter 11...
"Kat, Kitty, Katrina. You think we shouldn't talk about us?" He asks, looking down at me.
"There is no us," I say, looking right back at him, trying to at least make it appear that I am confident in not wanting to be around him. And honestly, I think I kind of don't. I mean, generally, I guess I do but as of now, he has locked me with him in a freaking closet! and cornered me and I'm not about that.
"Really?" He asks, pushing away and leaning against the closed door. "Nothing at all? No feel in you that makes you question everything? You don't want me close to you? All. The. Time?" He raises an eyebrow.
"No. I want to go to the library to find another book because I'm almost finished. That's what I want." I push him from the door and open it. "Sorry to disappoint Malfoy, but not everybody wants you." I walk out of the room.
I walked up the staircase and straight to the library, no turn around, no sigh of relief. I was on a mission.
Draco's POV
I stood there, watching her walk away. She didn't want to be with me. Huh. I could have sworn on Salazar Slytherin himself that she liked me. Oh, but the way she used to look at me. She glared, of course. As Potter's sister she was inclined to hate me but there always seemed to be something else.
I was thinking about old times while walking down the hallways when I heard a voice that couldn't be further from what I wanted.
"Hi Draco," Pansy grinned and slipped her hand in mine. I tried to pull away and sighed.......
Kat's POV
I sat down after finding a book. One that had apparently been the mandatory textbook fifty years ago. I started flipping through the pages, tapping my fingers on the desk. Tap. Tap. Tap. Eventually someone cleared their throat behind me. It was Madame Pince, telling me to "stop with that incessant noise" before she made me leave. Eventually I got to my feet, checked out the book, and went on my own terms. I walked through the halls to Gryffindor Tower, the best place to hide from the most irritating (and attractive) Slytherin.
"Kat. Where have you been?" Hermione asks as I enter the dorm.
"The Library," I say, holding up the book to show her.
"It's almost dinner time and I told Harry and Ron I would wait for you. Let's go," she says.
I sigh and set the book on my bed and follow her out the room.
. . . . .
Nothing genuinely important happened at dinner, Ron ate a lot of chicken, Seamus blew something up, and I did my best to keep from looking at the Slytherin table. I could not have been happier to get into my bed, have the lights go out, and drift off into a dreamless sleep.
That was not worth the wait, was it? I'm so sorry that this took forever. I wish I could say the day I new the next chapter would go up, I would tell you right now but I have no idea. I love you guys and I really hope this chapter was kind of okay even though nothing really happened.
