What it looks like.

This is what depression looks like:

Not taking your bra off for days.
Not being able to shower due to lack of motivation.
Lack of motivation.
Not getting enough sleep.
Irritability.
Anxiety.
Anger.
Crying.
Not being able to cry because your body/brain won't let you.
Telling people you're fine when you aren't.
Snapping at people.
Fidgeting.
Rocking.
Scratching a part of yourself, both consciously and unconsciously.
Feeling vulnerable.

This is not a joke. When someone says they have been diagnosed with depression, take notice. It isn't a good thing. Help the people around you.
