Pixie was jumping at the brown wooden door frame trying to catch a bug when she took her down she got a splinter. "Owie!!!" She said letting out a cry. Brutus came up to her "what's wrong" he said looking at her as she raised her paw to show him a little splinter. "Hang on let me get it" he said putting his muzzle up to her paw and bit at the splinter pulling it out. He sat back down and spit it over his shoulder. "There you go. All better" he said sitting down "Thank you Brutus. Thank you! thank you!" She said hugging his front leg. "Your welcome" he said letting out a slight Chuckle. "How did you even get it anyways?" He said looking down at her "I was trying to catch a big stinky bug" she said pointing at it. "This?" He said looking at a fly "Yeah that's the one!" She said in a cute angry voice before Brutus put his paw up and whacked it Killing it. "There you go pixie. No more stinky bugs" he said giggling {end of chapter.}
