Passion (Optimus Prime x reader) ¡REWRITING!

Different side of Optimus/ saving the world.

We've been driving for a while now, so long it was getting dark again. Most of us last slept 2 nights ago (meaning this was there 3rd night up) and we were getting VERY tired. Most of us (mainly me) made little skids of the road from time to time because of, you guest it, tiredness. "Optimus" I said while driving closer to him. "We all need some rest, especially you." I say this because it was actually 3 nights ago since Optimus last slept. Meaning this was his 4th night up.

"We have no time, Cheval... we... we must find the cube before-" Optimus said tiredly until he suddenly skidded to the side a bit.

"Optimus please! Think for a moment! How will you defeat megatron in this state?! Please just for 2 hours... 1 hour let's just rest!" I pleaded for his sake alone. He thought for a moment "you opinion is..." he sighed in defeat "agreed." We drove around a Rocky Mountain away from the road so humans can't see us and transformed. We all stretched out as it has been a whole day since we've stretched our legs; even Optimus stretched out a bit, he stretched he arms backwards so he was stretching his shoulders too. (Wow, that's a lot of stretching XD)

We all laid down behind the mountain cliff including Optimus, he was quite away from us though with his back facing us all; I think he was annoyed. I walked over to where Optimus was and sat next to him. "Hey, what's wrong?" I said lovingly to him to try and make him at lest a bit happier.

"Nothing." He muttered, clearly annoyed. I sighed and lent over to kiss his cheek.

"Why are you annoyed?" I said kissing his cheek again.

"I'm not. I'm fine!" He shouted sharply which surprised me, Optimus never spoke sharply or shouted at me.

"... ok..." I got up to leave him for a bit, maybe he just wanted some alone time. I got up and started to walk away.

"Wait" Optimus sat up a bit and grabbed my wrist stop me. "Please... I'm sorry." I was taken aback by this, whenever Optimus apologises (which he beardy needs to) he alway uses the terms 'my apologies' or 'I apologise'. But here to me now, he was actually give a sincere apology. I turned my head to look at him, his eyes were in deep worry that he made me feel dejected. I smiled at him and laid down next to him.

"It's alright, I know you going through some things." I said reassuringly.

"That's no excuse for me to be rude to towards you. I was actually feeling better with your company, but I find that hard to show when I'm troubled." He sighed, bringing me closer to him.

"Then let's talk about it, you'll feel better I promise." I stroked his cheek. We talked for quite a while before we too fell asleep. I can't believe how much is on his shoulder right now and the responsibility's he's going through. He needs to 1: save this planet (a whole planet!), 2: he's going to have to kill his closest (ex) friend before the war, 3: he feels that it was his fault for bumblebee to be captured and 4: he hasn't had time to 'relax' in almost 8 months since he found out about the cubes existence here on earth. After this battle with megatron, I'm DEFINITELY forcing him to have a holiday; even if it's just for a day.

Ratchets POV

I was first to wake up, it has been about 2 hours and we needed to go. I got up to wake jazz and ironhide up, they groaned but did get up. We all looked to were Optimus and y/n were and walked over. We saw Optimus and y/n close, very close together with Optimus' face in y/n neck. "Optimus" jazz said, reaching out to wake him up. I grabbed his wrist and stopped him.
