"It's time to go, Sanem."

His eyes were tired, and his lower lip formed a subtle pout as he'd said it.

After an initial shock, Sanem stood, "Ok Can... I'll just get my things and I'll go." She started picking up her things- her room key, her robe and slippers, tears coming yet again.

He saw her crying again and realized- "No, Sanem! I don't mean you need to leave... I mean- it's morning... we go home today." She sniffed and wiped her eyes as he came to her, hugging her to him. "I'm sorry I wasn't clear... I am actually tired and still have a lot to figure out so, I just wasn't focused enough to be clear, I'm sorry ok?"

She gathered herself, "Okay... me too- I mean... I'm tired too." Can went to grab a change of clothes, "Let's get some breakfast before we head back tamam?" "Ok, I'll go change and get packed." She wasn't sure what their next move was, but she was always willing to follow his lead. She got her slippers on and heard a knock at the door. "Can?" she called toward the bathroom- "someone's at the door." He called back, "Probably housekeeping-"

Sanem opened the door. "Can?" She called again, glaring at the woman standing there, "Housekeeping needs you." Polen just glared back at Sanem.

Can came from the bathroom in fresh clothes and a toothbrush hanging from his mouth. He grabbed it from his lips, asking, "Why does housekeeping need m-" He got to the door and immediately rolled his eyes, leaning against the wall. Polen was taken aback to see Sanem there... in Can's room, but she quickly recovered. "Good morning." Can, still staring at the ceiling, said flatly, "Polen- what are you doing here?" She continued, "I didn't mean to disturb- I just had more information about the job to share with you." He rolled his head to the side, looking at her, "How did you know where to find me?" Polen smiled, "Your mom told me you were here... I decided to get some fresh air and come up." Can commented, "Perfect," as he turned back to go finish brushing his teeth. Polen called in after him, "I'll see you at breakfast-" Sanem shut the door without ceremony.

She wondered how long she should wait before going back to her room. She sat on the edge of the bed for a minute or two, then checked the peep hole. She was gone. Sanem called back to Can... "Do you still want to have breakfast together?" He stepped out of the bathroom, "Of course we can still have breakfast together... but I am still considering Polen's job offer so, since she's here I need to speak with her- If you'd prefer, you don't have to be there." Sanem was stung again. "Ok," she said, quickly leaving his room.

She got inside her door and leaned against it, sinking down to the floor in quiet tears.

It really was wearing on her to keep up the fight all the time. Should she just go home? If she hadn't come in the first place, like she'd originally argued for with Leyla and Emre, she wouldn't have had to endure any of this! But I feel like we did finally have a decent discussion last night... this morning- whatever time it was! Gah! She was so exhausted... and hungry. She did not particularly want to face Polen at breakfast, but Can had invited her and he had told her she needed to stand up for herself so- Breakfast, here I come! She finished getting ready and packed up her suitcase, lifting it off the bed as a knock came to her door.

Can leaned against the door frame, "Ready to eat?" She looked down to the floor for a second. "Or, are you not hungry this morning?" He gave her an out if she wasn't comfortable sitting through a conversation with his ex-girlfriend. She looked back up and smiled, "You know I'm always hungry, Can." He smiled, extending his arm, "Ladies first."

The threesome sat in an awkward silence at first. Everyone focusing on their plates. Can finally started, "Polen, you said you have some detail about the job?" She smiled, "Yes! There are a couple of stops along the way, London one of them of course, so you must come see me there," she gushed and gave Sanem a look. Sanem smiled, "It's usually kind of rainy in London isn't it?" Can nodded, "This time of year yes - I like the warmer, Spring weather." Sanem's turn to give Polen a look. Polen shook it off, "Anyway, I can always come see you on some of the other stops as well- it'll be fun!" Can nodded as he ate, still not committing to anything. Polen went on, "You remember Marco's boyfriend? He's in Karadag now!" Can kept the conversation going, "He moved?" Polen chattered away, "Yes, they live in a big, 250 yr old stone house there." Sanem picked at her eggs.
