so anyway uh i searched "list of edgy characters in smash ultimate" (fOr ReSeArCh)

so i came up with this stupid au idea where all the happy cinnamon rolls become edgy punks, and all the edgy punks become happy cinnamon rolls

okay so apparently cloud's not actually super emo but he doesn't really seem like the "super fluffy rainbows sparkles and friendship" kinda guy to me so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i don't really know that much about cloud/final fantasy in general honestly
i also don't really know if there are any other "edgy" characters in smash, if i'm honest i'm not too familiar with many of the characters, the only ones i know really well are the kid icarus and pokemon characters i know a little bit about some of the mario and legend of zelda characters, and a tiny bit about a few of the fire emblem characters but still not really enough to know if any of them are edgy
(i suppose now would be the perfect time to use my "weeeeell this comic isn't canon anyway" excuse haha)
