It was early in the morning as such it was still dark and sun could be seen approaching from behind the clouds while the windows were aesthetically covered in dew droplets.
The curtains of his bedroom were slightly closed thus the room was pretty dark. He sat on the messed up bed with his legs crossed and back alligned with the bed frame.
Dressed in a pair of navy blue sweat pants and whitish blue sweat shirt, he seemed to ponder deeply with a black signature pen in his right hand, which he rotated to and fro inatively. His hair were disorganised and his eyes red as if he had just woken up or hadn't slept the whole night, his eyes were strictly fixed on a green silk embroidered flower on the folded silk blanket which rested on the bed.
His face was plain with no recognizable expression while he time to time bit his dry masculine lips.
Just then skype call ringtone started to ring and brought him back to the harsh reality of life. He jerked his head towards the laptop placed on his bedside table, screen blinking with her name and picture on the screen.
He smiled gladly and jumped eagerly to get hold of the laptop. He curiously swiped the video call on and smiled as her image maximized on the screen.
"Hello." She greeted him first.
"Hey, morning." He replied as he starred her admirably dressed in grey flowery top, looking on top of the world, with her dull cheeks and smooth lips adding to her spark while her hair wide open.
"Isn't it way to early?" She curiously asked as she recalled he is not an early morning person.
"Yup it is." He replied naughtyly
"Then?" She asked brushing a flock of hair off her face.
"I have reached a conclusion on Maria's diagnosis," he smirked and gulped while she glared at him.
"I think she is suffering from multiple personality disorder," He concluded slowly and she stared at him in amazement.
"Right after her parents parted ways, she fell into depression, when her second personality developed, RIA. Ria stood by her when she needed a friend to look out for her. Then she started seeing me which Ria obviously didn't liked so she attacked you because I guess I had told Maria about you. She then tried to strangle me during the therapy.
Trust me I saw Ria! The moment Ria took over Maria, she was a totally changed person. who was no longer afraid to step on glass, or she was not phobic of dark room. Even her tone, gait and expression changed drastically, such that it made me uncomfortable.
She attempted to kill me and then passed out, she didn't remember a thing about the incident when she woke up. And Ria has been into some really deadly stuff, knife wounds on Maria's face, that dagger in her cupboard, if she can try to kill a person, she must have done alot of it in past. I have a gut feeling that she was the one who broke into my office that day."Afzaal narrarated the conclusion to Sana without even taking a breath.
"So you'll go discuss this with her family?" She asked and he immediately nodded clearly signalling a 'NO'.
"I don't think it's a good idea." He answered.
"Why?" She wondered.
"When I met her parents last time. I observed that they trust Maria way too much, they won't believe that she has been doing all this." He replied calmly.
"So what next?" She asked him.
"I'll have to handle it on my own." He replied mysteriously.

Two days later......
She flickered on the kitchen lighter, smoothly lighting the stove and placed a black round based saucepan on the right corner stove.
She tiptoed her self towards the opposite shelf beside the conventional oven and reached out up the cupboard, gripping up the classic wooden cutting board and a sharp silver sparkling knife.
She placed the things on the marble counter and started to hunt for the vegetables from the brown jute basket lying in front of her. She helped herself to get few fresh carrots and a cabbage.
Just then she noticed the apron tied around her waist was actually slipping down as the thread around her neck and waist had loosened or was almost unwounded.
She let out an embarrased laugh and reached backwards tieing her apron, while making sure not to soil her dress just then she heard her phone placed by the sink, ringing.
She fastly tied the apron and then grabbed her phone. It was Dr Afzaal. She pondered for a moment and then received the call.
"Hello." He greeted her enthusiastically.
"Hello Dr." She replied anxiously.
"How are you?" He for the sake of formality, asked.
"I am good, was just cooking." She told him as she gripped the knife in her right hand and the vegetable in the left hand while her phone balanced between her chin and neck.
"Ahan, I see. I hope I didn't disturbed you?" He asked formally.
"No Dr, it's okay." She replied, sliced the carrot finely and brushed it off the cutting board.
"That's good," he took a slight pause because he wanted to be very careful, not to provoke Ria.
"I was thinking of conducting the next session outdoors." He stopped to hear her reply.
"Outdoors. Umm okay DOC. As you say." She replied and continued chopping vegetables, harshly.
"Tomorrow, coffee shop at five in the evening." He outlined and she immediately replied "okay see you." And got hold of the cabagge, peeling it's layers.
"Okay see you." He replied and she hung up.
She rolled her sharp eyes around the whole kitchen looking for something and then narrowing her gaze onto the dark brown spoon and knife rack beside the stove. It consist of around five knives ranging from blunt fruit knives to sharp cutting and slicing knives.
She slowly pulled out the sharpest huge knife, carefully examining it with the tips of her perfectly manicured fingers while still continuously eyeing the kitchen wallpaper from the corner of her eye and moment by moment her shallow breathing transformed into heavy breaths.
Just then she shrieked raising the knife above her neck slowly, beside the angle of her face climbing on her cheek bone, across the rim of her nose towards her right eye. She moved it rhythmically over her face making smooth and cold contact with her sweaty skin and suddenly she slit her upper cheek, anxiously throwing the knife on the floor as the blood started to ooze out of the fresh wound all over the floor and the kitchen counter, she tightly closed her eyes.

"Hello, Dr Afzaal?" Naima plainly added as she senced that the recipient had recieved the call.
"Yes, it's Afzaal here." He replied formally.
"I am Naima Yousaf, Maria's mother. I called to inform that she won't be taking the session today." She clearly informed him while he listened to her.
"Okay, is she fine?" He asked.
"Well she got hurt." She replied.
"How come?" He asked out of curiousity as he was expecting Ria to play any such act.
"She got hurt by a knife. Just a minor cut on her face." She added.
"Hmm I see. I'll see her as soon she gets better." He concluded the conversation wisely.
He placed his phone on the desk and chucked laughing while crossing fingers of both his hands under his chin.
Afzaal POV
Damn, I knew Maria is gonna be rough now, I mean Ria! Now I really need to play safe otherwise Maria would suffer, really bad.......'I wouldn't say that I am violent, I'd say I am rather vicious personality wise.'
