Asher's POV:

Well, here I go I'm going to do it, today's the day. I'm going to tell my parents that I am gay I know what you're thinking. Wow, your really disgusting and it's your right to think that if you want. I don't really care, I am me and I'm not going to change that.

But one step at a time first my parents then my friends at school today. And maybe just maybe the whole school tomorrow, depending on how my friends take it maybe today. I walk downstairs with my head held high, and straight to the kitchen where I know, I will find my parents and brother sitting.

"Mom, Dad I have something to tell you." My dad looks up from his paper and mom stops cooking and listens. Even my brother who never cares what is going on around he stops what he is doing to listen. They both nod and smile.

"I um.. Just want to tell you that I'm gay. I like men..." I'm ready for them to start yelling at me calling me nasty and gross. But they don't instead they do something I didn't expect they bust out laughing. My mom comes over and gives me a big hug.

"It's about time you figured it out. We thought you ever going to be 50 before it happened. Didn't we honey." My dad says.

"We sure did, honey we have known for a long time that you were. I'm just glad you have finally figured it out." I look over at my brother Trav to see what he has to say, but he's just smiling at me. Did he know too?

"Good for you little bro." With that, he ruffles my hair and leaves the kitchen. I knew my family would except me. Well okay no I didn't but I did hope they would, one down one to go my friends. I hope they are open-minded about it too. Talking about my friends I wonder what time it is. Holy shit is late! I'm not going to make it!

"Hey, dad can you take me to school? Since I have already missed the bus."

"Sure thing kiddo, let me get some shoes on and the keys meet me out by the car. I will be there in a second." I nod get my stuff together and head to the car. The ride to school was really fun me and dad were jamming out to Kill the lights by set it off. I just got to say that is our jam. I get out and wave bye to dad, then head to the school. Today is going to be a very long day. I don't really see any of my friends until lunch, I walk over to the table and give them a big smile.

"Okay since everyone is here. I have to tell you something."

"What that you're gay?" My best friend Sarah asks, my mouth drops open.

"But how did you..."

"Know? Now that hurts me real deep, I know more about you then you do, Asher." Sarah says smiling at me.

"Did you all know?" They all smile and shake their heads yes. Well damn, am I the only one who didn't know? My parents and then my friends knew too, what is life? I am just glad they don't all hate me. I smile at them and we sit down to lunch talk, laugh and have a great period. Now time for my last period of the day, which I love but also hate. I hate the teacher she is an old bitch but I love the subject. I walk into class to find the principle in our classroom once we were all in there and took our seats she talks.

"Just wanted to tell you that your old teacher has quite and you know have a new one. Come on in Mr. Walker." The door opens and in walks a god of a man, Mr. Hotness more like it. The principle says something else which I don't catch before she leaves. After she is gone Mr. Hotness opens his mouth to say something.

"So how about we get to know each other better? Start by telling me your names and one thing you like and one thing you don't like. Then you can all ask me questions." He smiles at everyone god damn he's hot! Before I know it it's my turn.
