aimeeford psa: emotions are still running high.

on wednesday, i celebrated six years with the love of my life in the city i have always dreamed of visiting. cayden surprised me with the tickets to paris a week ago and i couldn't stop weeping. i still can't believe where i am.  our six-year anniversary quickly became the most magical day of my life, thus far. reflecting upon wednesday, there were signs of what was to come. cayden was nervous: constantly fidgeting, very little eye contact, short answers and avoiding affection. i was worried; resulting in my mind clouding with negativity, oblivious to the moments to come. cayden proposed to me after dinner, with the eiffel tower as the backdrop of the most beautiful moment i have ever experienced. our smiles reached our ears and tears couldn't stop falling as we shared the most intimate moment of our relationship yet. the only way that i can describe becoming engaged is pure joy.

when i met cayden six years ago; i had no idea that i had met the love of my life, my forever, the other half of my heart. i hadn't fully realised that he was my soulmate until last night but i always knew how special of a man he was, it's just you can never be sure of something so significant until the right moment. last night was the perfect moment. cayden is truly one of a kind and the greatest man i have ever known. i cannot wait to spend a lifetime with him.
