My Sunshine

Chapter one

|NEW NEIGHBOURS|

In the backyard at 4 p.m you could see Emilia running to get in her shack.
This little building had been built for her so that she could make what pleased her there.

She will soon turn to sixteen on the 20th March and it's already the 14th March.

This day,she wasn't in her shack as usual as school has already started.
It wasn't a problem for her to do her homeworks in th shack but she was doing it in her bedroom anyway.

She heard sound of engines stopping outside.

She ran to her window and peered through it to see a boy of about her age getting out of a car accompanied by a woman and a man,that she guessed was his parents.

She heard someone running upstairs and knock on her bedroom door.
It should be her mom.
Emilia was about to open the door but before she could do so,her mom opens it by herself and shot her a warm smile.
"Let's go and greet the neighbours,won't you?"

She nodded and ran downstairs.

"Hello",Emilia said to the new neighbours.
They all said "hello" in unison.

They came from Korea.

The boy was staring at Emilia intensely and she was so embarrassed.

The Korean's dark eyes was so piercing.
His brown hair was so beautiful to the sight and Emilia couldn't stop staring.

The boy had noticed as he grin and said:"Stop checking me out".

"Am not checking you out",Emilia said as she was looking at the funny pony-like face of the boy.

They both laughed.

"I can see that you're both getting well together",said Emilia's mother.

The new neighbours laughed and said:"We are so glad to have you as neighbours and by the way,we are the jung".

"We are the Harris family",the dad of Emilia said with his wide smile.

"What's your name?",said the boy with a funny english accent.

"Emilia and you?".

"Hoseok",he looked at Emilia and when he heard his phone ringing, he started to dance before answering.

Emilia though he was really funny and couldn't stop laughing.

Emilia went back to do his work while thinking of this funny boy,Hoseok.

It was like if he was a sunshine.
