chapter 16

Emilia's p.o.v
"Happy birthday to you",everyone there were singing for me and I was so happy at that exact moment.
My mom had invited Hoseok and his parents to my birthday party without even letting me know.

I inhaled a big quantity of air and then blew the lights that was on my cake off.

"You made a wish",asked Hoseok to me.
"Yes",I answered, thinking of my wish of getting Hoseok for me.
I did not really loved Namjoon that much and I'd accepted to be his girlfriend only to make Hoseok jealous. My plan was working as Hoseok would usually looked upset when he would see me with him and kissing him.
I felt a little guilty for using Namjoon.

I suddenly got out of my thought and realised that everyone was chatting and eating cakes.
I found a plate with a cake on it on my hand. I went to sit next to Hoseok and ate my cake with so much joy. It was so delicious that I couldn't hear my mom talking to me.

"Hey Emilia!",she shouted.
"What?",I said,surprised and throwing my plate on the wall.
"It's been 16 years now and you've become a beautiful and unique girl",she said smiling gleamingly at me.

I send her a little smile and went to clean up the mess I've done to the wall.I did not really liked when my mother told me that she loves me and all those thins. I know I sound strange like this but I thought it was really embarrassing so I preferred to clean up to get away from her speech.

When I was done cleaning, my mom seemed to have forget all about her speech and I was glad.

"How does it you're going out with Namjoon?",Hoseok whispered to me.
"I love him and that's the reason ",I lied.
"But why him and not me?",he muttered.
"Hey...aren't You in love with Lea?",I said.
"Uh-Yes",he said looking down.

I wanted to tell him that love him and that he was the only boy I really love but I didn't find the courage to do so. I sighed,realising of how stupid I was to lie to him.
Everything would have been easier if only I had told him the truth.
I should have tell him that I love him.

When the party was over, I went in my bedroom to cry. Why should it be so complicated?

I suddenly felt something vibrating under me.
I found my phone and when I answered the call,I heard the voice of Namjoon.
"Hey sweetie "

"Hey",I managed to say.
"Are you okay?",he said with worry.
He should have noticed that I was crying.
"Yes",I lied. "What do you need to tell me?".

"I wanted to tell you that I love you",he said.

"Oh...I love you too",I said before I hung up in his face.

I wasn't in a mood to talk so this was the best solution I could find even if it was not nice.
