Chapter 7 - Power

New York City:

Iron Man had brought new friends.

Dozens of armoured suits and also some superheroes appeared.

The Sentry did nothing but smile.

Why would he care? To him, they are just ants.

Hyperion flew towards him as fast as he could.

He got rid of the few mile distance in less than a second.

He flew right towards Sentry at full speed.

He was breaking the very barrier of sound.

A massive sonic boom could be heard all around the city.

But even then, the Sentry smiled.

"Hyperion, huh?"

He was not scared. He is not scared of anyone.

With his newly created twisted personality, people should fear him even more.

In the past, the Void could have always been defeated by the Sentry. But now? Now that they are one, no one can stand a chance against them.

Hyperion and Sentry were now very close.

He was about to punch him but out of nowhere, a black goo surrounded him.

"!!"

Hyperion could not move.

His movement was stopped.

"You don't want to die, 'Sun God'. Give up."

"Mmfph."

The black goo covered him completely.

He was surrounded by it and could not move.

"(Make up your mind.)"

Hyperion could not hear anything.

But all of a sudden, he heard the Sentry's voice loud and clear.

He did not notice that the Sentry was inside his mind.

"(If you leave now, I will let you live. Stay and you die.)"

The Sentry wanted to give them all a chance.

Leave or die.

He only wanted to kill a few people. But other heroes won't let them die. So, he needs to change. What will he do? Let them live or kill them all?

The Sentry flew towards Luke Cage.

"Luke Cage, get away--"

Vision tried to shout out to Luke Cage but it too late.

He held Luke Cage by his neck and flew up.

"Listen here, Luke."

"..."

"Get back to your family. This is not your fight. So, leave."

"You know I can't do that, right?"

"You do know that I can kill you, right?"

Luke Cage has unbreakable skin.

But it has limits. He cannot be invincible.

"Are you ready to die then?"

"..."

Luke thought about it.

"Yes. You need to be stopped. Where will you draw the end line? Who is next after you kill Tony?"
