Garroth's P.O.VI walked back into our base and held my stomach in pain, and pulled my arm away, seeing some blood that leaked on my arm. My eyes widened and I looked down at my stomach to see a huge slash on my stomach. 'That's why people were looking at me weird! How did I don't notice that I have a huge slash across my stomach?!' I thought and tensed up, I took a deep breath and put pressure on my wound, stopping the bleeding. I put my arm back around my stomach and looked back up, I saw Aaron standing there looking at me. "H-huh? Did you say s-something?" I winced quietly at the stinging pain. Aaron sighed and walked closer to me. "Did we win?" Aaron asked again, looking me up and down intently. "...No Aaron...we had to come back, so many people were dying. We just couldn't-" Before I could finish my sentence, Aaron grabbed me by the hand and basically dragged me to his office. Once we entered his office Aaron's eyes flashed a light red. "Why didn't you stay?" Aaron asked, anger clearly in his tone. Fear pricked my eyes and I looked down, careful not to make eye contact with him. "We all would've died Aaron...we c-couldn't fight them, because we were unprepared," I said, trying my best to not stutter. "Why would I care if you all died? I told you to lead them and come up with a plan, not to decide if we should continue to fight or not." Aaron snapped, making me flinch. "...I-I'm S-Sorry..." I muttered out, tears pricking my eyes. "You're sorry? Just because your sorry do you think it'll magically go away!? That's not how life works Garroth!" Aaron paced around his room, letting out frustrated groans.
"I-it told them that we'll be back Aaron! The f-fight isn't technically o-over yet!" I snapped back, anger starting to consume me. "Garroth are you honestly brain dead? That means that they will be expecting us when we do decide to attack again!" Aaron responded, his ears and tail appearing. I winced quietly again and made my way over to a seat sitting down, trying to ease the pain in my stomach. I quickly stood up and regretted ever thinking of sitting down. "Get out of my office. I don't wanna see you for the rest of the day..." Aaron growled in a low tone, making my anger and fear mix together. I slowly nodded and blinked away the tears that threatened to spill from my eyes. I walked out of Aaron's office and made my way back down to the lobby, not talking to anyone. I exited the building and walked back home, holding my arm over my stomach. "I'll bandage it when I get home..." I mumbled to myself and looked up, I saw a tall figure who had light brown hair and sun-kissed skin. "Laurence..." I mumbled to myself and blushed a bit as I noticed him not having his sweatshirt on. I sprinted towards him, grunting a bit from the pain in my stomach. I walked beside Laurence, he looked over to his right and a smile appeared on his face. "Hey, Garroth." He said casually, holding his left arm with his right hand. He then looked at my stomach and noticed the gash I had only noticed a few minutes ago. "When did you get that..?" He said in a casual tone once again, but I could tell by his facial expression that he was worried. "I got it during battle but didn't notice it until we had gotten back to base," I muttered to him, smiling a bit. "...Do you wanna come over to my apartment and...chill I guess?" Laurence asked, looking at the ground awkwardly. "S-sure! But do you have some bandages? I still need to patch up this wound..." I sighed and motioned to my stomach. Laurence simply nodded and let go of his other arm, grabbing my hand. I looked over to him and saw he was blushing a light red, while my face started to blush a dark red. "H-huh?!" I squealed, widening my eyes. "I'm only holding your hand to guide you to my home..." Laurence said, turning a corner. My blush relaxed back down to a light red and I nodded slowly. "O-okay..." I stuttered again, making Laurence blush a bit more.
~'~ At Laurence's Apartment ~'~
Laurence pulled out his keys and opened the door to his apartment, we both stepped into his apartment and took a deep breath, taking in the wonderful Vanilla Scent that lingered around the brunette's apartment. I heard Laurence sigh and look around his apartment, smiling. "This is home..." Laurence said, and his smile grew wider as what I assume, his dog ran over to him. "Luna! There's my girl!" Laurence cooed, and dropped on his knees, using his right arm to pet his dog, Luna. I blushed a light pink and looked away, scanning his living room with my cyan eyes. "You have an...n-nice place..." I stuttered out in embarrassment, looked back at Laurence. The brunette looked up from Luna and stood up. He walked over to me and smiled proudly before he directed his attention back to me. "Thanks, Garroth...let's go you those bandages, huh?" Laurence said and chuckled nervously, motioning me with his hand to follow. I nodded slowly and walked behind him, over to the bathroom. Laurence opened the medicine cabinet and took out the bandages, I saw the brunette go onto his knees and he carefully pulled up my shirt, wrapping the bandages around my stomach. I let out a loud wince and grabbed onto his shoulders, accidentally scratching him a bit.
Laurence's P.O.V
I blushed a dark red and let out a small grunt, but replaced it with a cough so Garroth didn't notice. "S-Sorry..." Garroth mumbled, wincing a bit more. I nodded slowly and continued to patch up his wound, erasing the...disturbing image from my mind.
