Remus Lupin has his friends; Lily, Dorcas, Marlene, Frank and Alice.
Sirius Black has his friends; James, Peter, Dorcas and Marlene.
Lily Evans knows James, Sirius and Peter but only because they met at a cafe and ever since then James has been head over heels for Lily, but Lily wouldn't consider them friends.
The two of them (Remus and Sirius) don't know each other at the beginning but meet each other through Dorcas and Marlene who know both of them.
Later on in the story, everyone (whose profiles I showed) become friends.
