The scent of the rain combined with the dirt resembled the smell of sea, it would've been only normal for (name) to link the resemblance if she went outside before.
But the young girl had never even stepped one foot into a beach.
"Waahh!! It's raining!"
"Stop playing in the rain! You'll catch a cold!!"
Emma blissfully ran around as if trying o collect the rain drops as Ray continued to scold her 'irresponsible behavior', eventually giving up when his words fell on deaf ears.
The children started to head to the house when the bell sounded, the rain was yet to really start so they weren't socked already.
And so the trio started to head back as well, only for Norman to stop in his track, looking back at the sky, " Rain at this time of the year...? That's strange..."
"Norman! Move move!"
"Oh! Coming!"
It didn't take too long for the house to be filled again, the majority of children, who were now tucked in warm, dry clothes and blankets, had their faces stuck at the window, admiring the rain whilst others wanted nothing to do with cold weathers.
(Name) had already finished changing, she went to the library, only to find the big three, seemingly in the middle of a discussion, the ginger smiled spontaneously at the sight of her best friend.
"Hey (name)! Getting warm?"
"Yup! Although I wanted to stay outside a bit to play, we don't get to see rain too often after all!"
" I get you!"
"You girls are dramatic, it's just rain, not some abnormal, supernatural phenomenon."
"Don't act like you didn't want to play as well, Ray!"
"Hmph...!"
"Hehe, he didn't deny i-"
"aCHOO!"
The three's conversation stopped in it's tracks as soon as a low sneeze sounded, gazes immediately pointing to the main culprit, said boy smiled nervously as he pinched his nose in embarrassment, silent as well.
"Norman... dude, you...", (Name) broke the silence, the cute ginger nodding as if agreeing on her yet-to-be-spoken words.
"You Sounded like a kitten!", Emma cheerfully proclaimed, completing the girl's statement, the latter resumed.
"Or a really cute baby panda!", (Name) was bouncing on her feet when the ginger pointed at her in agreement, as if she concluded something that was on the tip of her tongue, leaving the boy in question to stare at the two in fluster.
"E-eh?!"
"You girls never even heard nor saw those in your lives-"
The news of Norman's sickness was quickly spread to their caretaker, who isolated him in an individual bedroom like the bearer of a deadly contagious disease, said woman was making his lunch separately from everyone else.
"You do know that what your doing is suspicious, right?", Isabella only gave the black haired boy a glance, smiling as she placed the fragments of the sick boy's lunch into one side of the rather large tray.
"Maybe, but you don't have to worry, I'll allow one or two people with a good immunity to see him, I'm sure this little accident isn't helpful for them anyway."
"I see..."
As if on cue, the usual two accompanists bursted through the door, the red head who had a worried expression speaking first, "is Norman not eating with us? I didn't see him at all since he got in that room!"
