Chapter 22

I went into the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee, I started thinking about why Pedro was acting strange towards me, he has never brought up anything about Scarlet not being mine biologically ever, now that he fucked up his marriage he's acting differently that's after Carlos letting him stay with us for a while, and I was brought out of my train of thoughts by Carlos coming into the kitchen.

"Princess just ignore Pedro, he doesn't know what he's talking about" Carlos tells me while hugging me from behind.

"Yeah I know, but he can't say things like that while living here because what if Scar hears him at somepoint?" I say then question Carlos.

"I will talk to him about it" Carlos says before kissing my head then unwrapping his arms from me.

I nod at his as I begin pouring the water into the coffee cup, Carlos gets a glass of milk before walking into the living room, I take my coffee before sighing slightly then walk through to the living room to see that it's just Pedro, Carlos, and I.

"Where is Harry?" I ask no one in particular.

"Harry is away on club business" Carlos tells me with a smile, I nod at him.

I sit on the couch before turning 'Netflix' on then scroll through it looking for something to watch, I put on 'The Witcher' since it looked good, the series just started when Pedro started speaking.

"Amy I'm sorry for what I said earlier, I'm really happy for you, and Carlos having another child. I'm mad right now, I was taking it out on you which was really wrong of me" Pedro says while looking apologetic.

"I can forgive you but you can't be saying things like that just encase Scar hears you, even though Carlos, and I have figured out what we are going to tell her. We would rather her hear it from us rather than someone else" I tell Pedro while looking at him seriously, I notice that Carlos is smiling at me.

"I understand that. Thank you for forgiving me" Pedro says before getting up then walking out of the house.

I give Carlos a confused look but he shook his head, came over to sit next to me on the couch before he wrapped his arm around me and laid us both on the couch. I was starting to fall asleep when Scar came into the living room, she climbed on top of the couch wanting to cuddle up as well, Carlos put on 'nailed it' since Scar can't watch the programme that we were watching.

I was woken up with Carlos telling me that dinner is ready, I got up from the couch before waking Scar up, I don't even remember going to sleep, Scar smiled at me once she woke up then went into the dining room for dinner, I went through to the dining room to see that Carlos made lasagna, he was pouring the drinks then smiled at me when he noticed that I was standing there.

"Princess take a seat, are you still tired?" Carlos says before asking me.

"How long was I asleep for?" I asked carlos while taking a seat.

"About 2 hours. You and Scar fell asleep within the first 5 minutes of nailed it" Carlos tells me, I nod my head at him.

"Okay that's not so bad if it was only two hours" I say while eating a bit of lasagna.

"Princess you need to sleep if your tired, it doesn't matter how long you sleep for since I can help around the house" Carlos tells me with a serious look, I nod at him.
