Stuck on Stupid (Chris Brown Fan-fiction)

Ch. 2 New Employee

Like any typical day at work, I would walk in the lab and greet my co-workers a good morning as I walked over to my station(desk). Once I had gotten my supplies that I needed for the day, I logged on to my computer and started looking through files and emails. I took out my headphones and put one ear bud in my ear while the other was hanging off of my shoulder. It was a lab policy for us employees that if we wanted to listen to music we could either put one ear bud in or listen to the radio but, it had to be turned down. The reason was incase of an emergency and the fire alarm went off and vice versa we would be able to hear it and also if someone needed to call on us. Anyways, once situated I began on my work and 10 to 15 minutes into working I hear my supervisor speak up for our attention. As I look up, I see a guy standing next to him. "Everyone I would like to introduce to you Chris, he is here to join us as a new employee and as a member of SST, welcome him to the lab." Said Ethan.

As Ethan spoke, my eyes wandered off to Chris. He seemed to be around my age range, he was tall around 6-1', light skinned, he had some freckles that were sprawled around his cheeks, he was covered in tattoos, he looked to be in good shape, and although his wardrobe was real simple he seemed to look mighty fine with a navy blue shirt, khaki pants, topped with black and white Vans. The expression on his face was blank yet surprised with Ethan's introduction all the while Chris looked around reading peoples faces and taking in his new work environment. Overall, he looked like any other guy, hold up! let me rephrase that, he wasn't like any other guy I've seen around, that drew me in for some reason. But let me not get ahead of myself...haha. Once Ethan finished with his introduction, they both walked past the front of my desk. As they walked past the desk, Chris and I stole a quick passive glance at each other, I didn't make anything of it so I returned back to my work.
