Chapter 3: The Book

"What do you mean were arrested?!!"

Angel looked calmly at the raging Rin Okimura and glaring Yukio as some exorcist handled them.

"I assure you, the council will be the one deciding your faith demon."

"Goddamnit!!! Just let Yukio go and I'll be coming with you peacefully!!"

Angel just shook his head, "Unfortunately for the both of you, Professor Okimura is also been called by the council."

Rin growled dangerously as Angel have to keep his fear from ever showing as he still looked neutral on the outside.

"Goddamnit why does those two always get in trouble with the council!!", Bon growled from his side of the chair from the Council room.

Shiemi twiddle with her fingers as she looked at her grandmother.

Kamiki sighed as she stood with her second cousin, "Some things never changed."

The door opened as all talks quiet down when they saw the Okimura twins walked inside the room.

One of the chancellor spoke up, "Rin Okimura, you had been subject to had let Satan walked here in Assiah."

Gasp filled in the room looking terrified as  horror immediately appeared on their faces.

"And Yukio Okimura had also been subjected to have uncontrollable demon powers."

And another gasp. Rin mentally rolled his eyes, this stupid exorcist really started to annoy him.

"We had given you chances to prove yourself but this is the last straw. You had done a very grave sin by letting Satan roam around Assiah. And the both of you had been punished for eternity in the cell"

"Wait what?!"

Rin resisted as one of the exorcist grabbed him as he looked at Yukio who is also being manhandled.

"Let Yukio go you bastard!!"

All of them didn't notice as the book Yukio had in his coat drops. One of the exorcist took a knife and pointed at Rin's throat accidentally slicing it as blood drops from his neck.

Yukio's eyes widened, "Nii-san!!"

Another blood dropped and landed on the book.

Then light started to show as everyone covered their eyes. The light parted into dust and created a dome like structure trapping everyone inside the council room as a golden screen appeared in the center.

They then heard voices as the screen shows angry mobs, shouting angrily as they looked at the blonde girl in distaste.

"What's going on?", one of the chancellor's asked as they all looked at their surroundings.

"It seems we have been trapped inside", Angel said as he took his sword and took a swing at the gold dome that surrounds all of them.

Shura also took her katana and wiped her blood at the side and chanted her technique, she took a strike as dust picked up and covered her form.

Everyone coughed as they saw the dust parted to still see the dome still standing not even having a scratch.

A purple smoke appeared on the center of the room right below the gold screen floating above. It revealed Mephisto in all his glory as he had a mischievous grin on his face.

"It seems your mission succeeded dear little brother, and you even opened the book which is a such a great feat."

"Mephisto?!! What is the meaning of this?!!"

Mephisto looked at the chancellors then his grinned stretched, "This fellow chancellor is a forbidden book which you opened that trapped all of us in and watch how things began."

"How things began?"

"Demon!!"

Everyone looked as they saw the mob on the screen started screaming at the crying blonde girl.

'Demon?'

"Rot in hell!!"

"You killed my family!!"

"You should die!!"

Everyone looked on horrified on what the mobs spat on the blonde girl which had her head bend down on her knees crying.

"What the heck are they doing?", Kamiki asked as she looked how the people treated the girl.

The screen shifted and showed a room, a very bloody room filled with dead bodies that scattered around.

Almost everyone turned green on what they saw.

There they saw a 6 year old boy looking on the massacre in front of him as a figure was standing in the center carrying a bloody katana.

Then the figure shifted showing horrifying red eyes that had a shaped kunai in black on his eyes.

"N-nii-san?"

The figure lets out a evil laugh, "My my Sasuke-kun, welcome back."

The boy drops the bag he was holding on the floor as he hatred appeared on his once innocent eyes.

"Y-you did this?"

"Why of course Sasuke-kun, who do you think is the only one capable of doing such a thing?"

"He killed all of them?!!"

Rin's eyes hardened not liking what he was hearing. What the heck is going on anyway, first they were arrested, second a knife was pointed at his neck and now they're watching a some sort of show?!

"Why?"

"For testing of course."

The maniac grin on his face didn't even waver at all.

"Testing?"

"Hahahaha, one day little brother. Kill me and you'll avenge our whole clan!"

The figure suddenly disappeared in a flock of crows leaving the 6 year old boy behind.

The darkness of the nigh covered the horrid scene but two glowing red eyes with two tomoes were seen.

Mephisto scratched his chin, "Why does those eyes seem very familiar."

Everyone was quiet.

"I'll get strong, then kill you brother. I'll avenge my clan's death."
