The Price We Pay

Getting Ready

I woke up in the morning and paid for my intake fee, now I have to wait for the process to actually begin

I was in my room doing homework when I heard a knock at the door 'Come in' and in comes Aaron 'Hey baby did you pa- 'Yes I paid' I say giving him a kiss on the lips 'Well excuse me miss lady' he says 

'What have you been up too' I ask as he lays on the bed 'We have a pie in the face event coming up' he says making me smile evilly 'Hmm I know someone who needs to be pied' I laugh 

'You better pie Marcus I'm not playing' he laughs, Marcus is my boyfriend's best friend they met each other freshman year not knowing that they'll eventually become line brothers 'Marcus is a mess' I say shaking my head

'Your going to have to buy hella things so you better take it and thank me by giving me a kiss' he says I smile giving him a passionate kiss 'Come see me tonight' I say tugging on his arm 'Oh I will, and you better be ready for me' he says heading out my room I heard a buzz and picked up my phone

"Ugh fantastic' I say to myself , I'll go after I'm finished with my classes for the day as I was heading to class I saw Jada 'Hey girl' she says 'What's up' I ask 'Nothing much just got done with class about to grab some lunch' she says 

'Would love to join you but I have class right now' I say

'It's cool around 5 you wanna go with me to Walmart to get the things, I'll put it in the groupchat' she says and I nod 'Yeah my last class ends around 5 anyways' I respond we bump fist and went our separate ways I have introduction psychology, and I hate this class with a passion, once again I'm a fashion major taking this bullshit ass class, and today I was couple minutes late

As I approach the class, I hurried up and took a seat 'Someone in a rush' I turn to see this guy I ignored his comment as he chuckles 'Wow no comment' I was about to speak but my professor came in

 "Good afternoon class, I hope you guys were paying attention to last class on how we talked about social control and cults" I started to zone off on the lecture and went on twitter scrolling through until I heard my name "Miss Evans and Mr. Parker you two will be working on this project' he says I started to look around 'You should pay attention more often you wouldn't be looking so lost' the guy next to me says making me growl

'And what makes you say that' I respond back 'I'm Mr.Parker' he says I fake smile at him 'Fantastic' I say sarcastically 'I think I'm gonna like you' he says, now I'm not gonna lie the boy is fine as hell, but I'm a loyal girlfriend and Aaron has been so sweet to me and I refuse to allow some guy to mess it up 

'Whatever so are we going to do a powerpoint and call it a day' I ask looking at my phone 'You know it's rude as hell talking to someone while your on your phone' he says making me look away from my phone

'I'm sorry what is your name' I ask as he smirks 'My name is Frank' he says I sat there waiting for him to ask me my name 'Problem' he ask 'So are you curious to know what my name is' I asked him 'I already know your name' he says eyeing me 'Wha- 'So Jovita here's how the assignment is going to go down I'll do the powerpoint and you just write the essay' he says
