Junmyeon kept his promise to Emma: he immediately booked the flights to go to Berlin together. They were both happy to go to a place they loved and that meant a lot to them, and they were happy to go there with their son. They said goodbye to their friends and colleagues and after 2 days from their meeting they hopped on a plane which would take them to Europe.

Myungjoon was very happy too that he could finally spend time with both his parents. He felt that his mother was finally happy and he knew that her smile was now genuine. Even if she had tried to hide her tears and her sorrow and to appear always smiling in front of him, he could feel that it wasn't always true and that she actually was hiding something. Despite the fact that he was a little kid, he could understand that his father's absence from their lives was what made his mother sometimes sad.

- You know what daddy? he said while Junmyeon carried him as they were boarding their flight to Berlin.
- What?
- I am so happy to be in your arms, he smiled kissing his cheek.
- I am happy too, baby, Junmyeon answered holding him tight. Do you want the window seat?
- Nope. I prefer to stay between you and mommy if possible. So I can hold your hands.

Junmyeon and Emma smiled to each other. He caressed her cheek and then arranged one strand of hair behind her ear. They were both happy and their eyes expressed their feelings and no words were needed. They got to their seats and Emma sat down quickly followed by her son, and Junmyeon stayed behind a few seconds to arrange their luggage in the compartment above their heads. After that he sat down and put on his belt. Myungjoon had already put his belt on, being used to flying.

- Honey, I forgot to ask. What hotel did you book? Is it close to the center?
- Yes. I booked an apartment at the Adlon. We stayed there before, so we know it.
- The Adlon? We? When did you stay there?? Emma asked.
- Well...ahmm...the last time we met there. When you came to our concert.
- You stayed in the same hotel, and didn't tell me anything??
- Well...yeah. I didn't have courage to tell you the truth at that time. I entered the hotel after you. I...just couldn't tell you the truth.
- I can't believe this!
- Mommy, daddy, did you really meet each other in Berlin? Myungjoon asked curiously. And daddy, what do you do? Are you a singer and actor like my uncle?
- Yes, I met your mom in Germany a few years ago. And I have to admit that it was the best day of my life. I just fell in love with her on the spot. I have to admit that she stole my heart.
- Yeah, thanks for letting me know, Emma muttered, making her son chuckle.
- Well Myungjoon, she is right. I didn't tell her that I loved her from the beginning. But for this reason this city means a lot for us today. And yes, I do the same job as your uncle. That's why your mom loves me.
- Ha, you'd wish! Emma scoffed when she heard him. Baby, don't listen to him.
- I know mom. I think you love him because he is a great guy, because he is funny and smart and so on, and because he makes you smile. You already knew enough idols already: my uncle plus Kris and Han, right? So dad had to be much more than this.
- Uhmm, Joon, how come you thought about all this stuff? Junmyeon asked him.
- I don't know. It just came to my mind. By the way, if you are back now...can we live together please? Can you come stay with us? Like everyday? And be there to read stories before my bedtime? Maybe sleep with me sometimes?
- Yes, absolutely. Actually I can't wait to do all this stuff together with you, Junmyeon answered kissing his son's head.

The rest of their flight went on smoothly. Myungjoon and Emma slept most of the time, and Junmyeon watched over them smiling. He was happy to have them both in his life, and he couldn't believe how lucky he was in the end. The thought of starting a new career started to appeal to him even more and the idea of having his own family beside him gave him strength. Until a few days before he had been not happy at all. He realized that even if his work had been going on very well, the fact that he didn't have Emma in his life affected him more than the wanted to admit. Only now he realized how much he had changed since he had left her a few years before. Now he did not only have her, but also their son and doubted that he could be any happier.
