Fungi are eukaryotic, spore bearing achlorophyllous organisms with cell wall generally both sexually and asexually reproducing, possessing usually filamentous, branched somatic structures (hyphae/hypha) abd having absorptive nutrition. Fungi encompasses all organisms under kingdom:
Fungi, Stramenopila, Protista.
