A/N: Is it smoother to read it in First or Second Person? I try to go back and forth, to give it some F variety, but most x reader stories are in Second Person only. What's your feedback?

|2nd POV|

You take off your oven mitts while letting out a satisfying yawn. It was about 11am, so the morning wasn't quite over with. Being outside was pretty refreshing, especially with the nice breeze and all. But now the smell of the baking cookies is making you a bit tired. Figures. It should take about 12 minutes for them to be done give or take. Turles was sitting in the living room watching T.V., since you told him that the cookies were supposed to be a surprise. It wouldn't be much of a surprise if he was in the kitchen watching you make them.

Not wanting to bother Turles anymore than you already have today, you patiently sat in the kitchen waiting for the timer to go off. You pulled out your phone while waiting, and you tapped on Twitter. As you scroll through your feed, you like a bunch of posts about your favorite anime's and mangas. The fan art and comic skits looked really pretty- even though you couldn't read half of them (since most of them were in a different language).

About 12 minutes go by and you hear a ding. You close out of Twitter while powering off your phone, and walk over to the oven. Grabbing the oven mitts that you sat on the counter, you open the oven door. The warm heat of the cookies rise into your face as you open the door. It's almost like you were laying on a ball of fire. In a good way, of course. You would stand there all day if you could- but your urge to consume the cookies pushed you to pull them out the oven. Besides, Turles seemed like he was looking forward to trying them. You carefully take a spatula from the dish strainer and peel the cookies from the baking sheet. As you pulled each cookie up, you put them on a giant white plate. After the first rack was cleared out, you used your oven mitt to grab the second one. Two racks of cookies were a lot. Hell, you never even needed to make more than one before. But, as you quickly realized from being around Turles, saiyans have a big appetite.

He reminded you of someone, but you couldn't quite put your finger on it. He seemed so...familiar. You were positive that Turles didn't even have a brother, even though you never bothered to ask. You assumed that he would of said something by now, especially since he already clarified that all of his crew members were dead. Strange. You assumed you would remember eventually, as you continued to finish clearing the second rack of cookies.

"How do they look?" You ask, while looking up at Turles. You were currently sitting to his right on the far side of the couch, facing towards him. "They look...squishy. I never seen anything like this before- so I don't have anything to compare it to." His tail unwrapped from around his waist, and was now on the ground slightly tapping it. "I do admit that they smell really good. What do you call these chip things that are melded into the dough?" He pointed to the chocolate chips, while using his index finger to slightly push one in. It was a pretty cute thing to see- he looked like a curious child.

"They are called chocolate chips, they are really good. That's why they are called chocolate chip cookies. Go ahead and try one, they shouldn't be hot." His tail stopped moving as he grabbed a cookie. He held it up to his nose to sniff it, then he took a small bite out of it. A small, or not quite small, squeal of delight erupted from Turles as he quickly shoved the rest of it into his mouth. His tail started wagging furiously like a happy puppy, and he had a huge smile on his face. "Are they good?" As he grabbed five more, he gave you a quick glance and nodded, which he then quickly devoured all five of them. You let out a small chuckle, clearly amused by how excited he is.

Turles, on the other hand, thinks you are some type of food god. He's never ate something this good in his entire existence. Hell, the sweetest thing he's ever had was some type of tree sap. But even that was a bit tangy, and a bit unhygienic. These cookies however? They were the best shit ever. He's gonna devour all of them too. Well, maybe not all of them, he figures that he'll save you five. Maybe. He usually isn't that generous, but you did save his life and make the cookies. It's the least he can do. He just wishes that you had made a whole bucket full of them- but he won't say that out loud. He's still not sure about how the monetary system works on Earth, so cookies could be hella expensive for all he knows.

You looked at him in awe as he ate almost all of them. He stopped once there was five more left, nudging his head towards you. "These are yours, thanks for making them for me, they were delicious." You were a bit surprised that he saved any for you at all. You did however forget to grab some for yourself before he dug in, so perhaps he noticed that. "Are you sure? You seemed like you really enjoyed them." He let out a grunt of approval as he leaned back on the couch, crossing his right leg over his left one. You smiled to yourself as you ate the remaining five, as Turles carefully watched your movements. You were...decent when you were happy. When he realized that he had been staring, he quickly looked away. Thankfully, you hadn't noticed him at all.

As you finished your last cookie, he looked back at you. "Next time you make them, I want to be in there with you, helping you." It took you a minute to process his words, as soon as you did your face turned a little pink. He wants to help you? None of your exes ever did that, let alone offer to.

"Why?"

"Well you see, what if I want cookies and you aren't here to make them?" Ah, that makes more sense. Your not sure what you had been thinking, you just met the dude. Not to mention he's not mentally all there, he's kinda a psychopath. Actually, you never really seen him act like one, he just described himself as one. Strange. "And...I just wouldn't mind learning something from you in general. I enjoy your company so far." Hearing that made you go pink again. Your not used to being complimented- especially since you live by yourself. Well, up until now. Now you have Turles living with you. "Of course, I don't mind teaching you one day. Ya know, when you aren't crippled." Turles let out a small chuckle, which made you feel a bit warm. Your glad that you could make him smile. It's been a long time since you ever made someone happy, or at least content. Damn, you really need to find some friends.
