I love starry nights.
Like I find solace within my self, I find it in those nights.
I think it's because it feels so wrong being lonely when we're surrounded by other people. In a context that the society doesn't define as being lonely.
But if we are literal loneliness, it must alright to be it under the stars.
They're just like us, but brighter than any of us could ever whish to be.
From our perspective, they look clustered and so close together. But according to science, they are, in fact, so far away from each other that the distance would break apart even professional long distance couples. Distances that not even the most alight romance of them all could survive. Distance relationships like the one David and Victoria Beckham, and so many others had wouldn't stand a chance against distances as great as the one in between the stars.
Sometimes I wonder, if they are, by any chance, gazing down at us in a similar way that we sp longingly stare up at them.
And I wonder, if they, perhaps, feel as if it is alright to be literal loneliness in the company of us too.
