One Extra Special "Cheer Up Mei" Special!

This isn't exactly part of the narrative I've been spinning, but since my BFF @HaosRulez101 has been having a bad day, and my editor ( my sister, @pandasarecute42 ) has told me that my last chapter I just finished was "weird", I decided to throw in a little one off adventure for our lovable cast! This could fit in between Grimm Morning and Snakebites and Sacrifice. I've been told that I should include... Atticus and Raine being cute and cuddly, Diana throwing shoes at Grimm and Gaius, Fausty and Mei making cookies, Alexiandra teasing Gaius, Aannnd the blonde cute child (Daisuke) being cute and giving the girls sweets. I'm also going to introduce a new sibling. Yes, a new one. (Come on, there are a total of ten.) I still haven't revealed four of them. We'll (Have I suddenly begun to speak in the royal we...?) officially reveal them later on, but you can look forwards to meeting them by seeing this sneak peek! Well enough of us talking. We must allow you to read the story that we will write! (Maybe being a writer has gone to my head... Should I start going by Sensei now...?)

"Hey, hey! You know what? You know what?" Daisuke had said out of the blue one afternoon, "We should make cookies! They'd be really tasty! And it would be lots of fun!" He stood on his chair, pointer finger in the air, and a determined expression on his face, "Say, you'll help, right Raine? Won't you? Won't you?"

Raine set her book aside, gaining a sweet smile, "Of course!"

"Yaaaaay!" Daisuke exclaimed, "What about you Mei? And Diana? Won't you please say you'll help? Pleeeeeeeease?" the little boy gave them his best puppy dog eyes, which obviously made them melt.

"Awww how could I say no?" Mei gushed. Everyone knows she has a soft spot for the little guy... a huge soft spot.

"Sure," Diana agreed.

"Atti-kun, Gai-kun and Faa-kun are going to help too!" Daisuke said proudly.

"WHO DIED AND MADE YOU KING, RUNT??" Gaius burst out, standing up in defiance.

"Awwwwwww come on come on come onnnnnnnn," the little boy jumped down and clung to the redhead's leg.

"Yeah Gaius, have a heart won't you?" Faustus smiled, thoroughly enjoying his brother's misery.

"I'LL HAVE YOURS IF YOU DON'T SHUT UP!!!"

"I'd like to make cookies," Atticus raised his hand slightly, speaking softly. It eased the tension long enough for Gaius to get out of the younger boy's grip.

"Yaaay! Atti-kun wants to help too!" Daisuke exclaimed happily.

Gaius stormed off, "I'm out of here. I want no part in your girly bake-fest."

Diana managed to hit him in the back of the head with a shoe as he left the parlour.

"We'll see how he likes it when he finds out the ending of the little red hen..." Raine remarked.

"Ah yes," Faustus chuckled, "Those who do no work reap no rewards. All's well that ends with Gaius punching things... as long as those things aren't our faces."

"I second that..." Mei muttered. She looked at Daisuke, who was still smiling proudly at his excellent leadership to get people to do stuff together! "Let's head to the kitchen!"

"Hooray!" Daisuke cheered, putting his fist in the air triumphantly.

"Wait a second, do we have any baking supplies?" Faustus asked, thoughtfully looking at the ceiling, "Last I remember anyone baking was years ago when Caesar showed up and decided he was going to have a bake sale in our ballroom, but we were the only ones around, so Alexiendra just kept putting us in new disguises so we could go back pretending to be different people so he thought he was doing a great job, and then Gaius ate so many cupcakes that he got sick and couldn't leave his room for two days... come to think of it... where IS Alexiendra?"
