The Return of the Stones

Chapter 2

     Thanos stood there looking as powerful as he could without his armor and he guantlet. Nebula and Rocket went along with it knowing that they have commited their goal, the distraction was on road.

    "You should leave, those who has dissapeared will never return... Not under my watch, just give up" Thanos said, preparing himself to fight.

    Nebula didn't hesitate, neither did Rocket. The rest of the Avengers didn't need to be reminded of a signal or something similar, the sound of fight was enough to put them all on movement. Clint was the first one to show, arrow in hand and shooting a new type, it had diamont instead of metal at thr end of them... He was doing this for his family, for the world, for his friends and for the ones he lost, Wanda included; with those thoughts in mind he got his target, an arrow made blood pour from a cut in Thanos arm, and that alerted the titan of the others presence.

     They were in positions and it looked as if Thanos was defeated even before happening, but things could never be that easy. Bruce transformed in the hulk and even he was aware they had to follow the plan. Nebula started shooting and Thanos only covered himself with his arm, then attacked her with the soul stone, the bright orange color was enough signal for the others, Nebu o a tapped her bracelet twice as ordered and when she was hit... It didn't affect her in any way, part of it was absorbed and the I therreturned to one who sent it. The conatiner in Nebula's hand was shining.

     "We have one of six, lets go for the rest" Nebula said, putting the container in her belt, and then looked the face of her 'father', just to jump to him and being thrown away.

    Steve jumped into action, with all force he slid between Thanos legs and jumped to hit him in the back of the head, but Thanos turned quickly and knocked the air out of the captain. That was the signal for Natasha to go into action, with turns and cartwheels, she finally get a kick in Thanos horrible face. But the maniac being the maniac he is, just took her by the neck and was slowly suffocating her, making Pepper go into action to show what women power is, she blasted at him and tried to go near him, but when she went to near the armor won't cooperate. Pepper cursed under her breath.

    "Anthony Edward Stark, disable that safety protocol of yours that doesn't let me go near the villain" Pepper demanded

    "Pep, I won't let you get hurt, just use what the armor let you, please" Tony told her in a private link, she knew why it was so important for him that she was far from any threat, so she sighed and let the protocol go, using what she could. Thanos attention went to Pepper as in cue, but he couldn't go near her and that put a smirk on his face.

    Thanos aimed the reality stone and Tony was at the exact moment in front of her, catching it on the container.

    "Tony I could do it" Pepper complained

    "I know Pep, but I didn't want to risk it" Tony said and then flew away, blasting and using his nanotech suit to fight the titan, that has tormented him since New York.

    Rhodey was using the new misiles that Tony made, they had contained nuclear power just aimed to harm its objective, that gave Rhodey the opportunity to give Thanos a good deserved group of scratches, and he was proud of them. Who would not, if this was the one who has taken away half the Universe population.

     Clint entered the battle yet again, aiming arrows here and there at the same time that Tony and Rhodey were blasting at Thanos. Natasha was left in the ground a few moments before when Thanos went for Pepper, so she recovered and entered the battle yet again.

    Cap was doing partially a good job handling Thanos considering it was hand to hand combat. Until Thanos decided the power stone should deal with him. When Thanos used the power stone and noticed that it didn't scratch Steve, he was getting suspicious. The captain has just absorbed the power of well, the power stone, the container was a bright purple.
