"Hey baby." Auston said as Riley walked into their apartment.

"Hey, Aus. How was your day?" She asked, smiling. Auston grabbed a hold of her waist and pulled her into a passionate kiss, the scruff from his beard tickling her soft skin. they pulled away and she scrunched up her eyes and rubbed her cheeks slightly, making Auston chuckle softly.

"It was good, but it's even better now that you're here." He replied. Riley took off her Vans and the two walked further into the apartment.

"Hmm, what smells so good?"  She asked as they walked into the kitchen.

"Well I would lie to you and say I cooked, but we both know that is definitely not true, I ordered some nice food and I thought we could have a nice dinner. And I also got some new cologne." Auston added, causing Riley to laugh. She leaned in and smelt his shirt.

"Oh it does smell really nice. And if you thought we could have a nice meal, what's the special occasion?" She asked, placing her phone down at her usual spot at the table, walking over to the cupboards and pulling out two plates and silver-wear, then starting to setting the table.

"No special occasion, I just wanted to make my lovely girlfriend happy wanted to spoil you. Now let me do that." Auston said, taking the plates and silver-wear out of her hands and putting it on the table himself. Riley just laughed and shook her head, looking admirably at her boyfriend.

"I love you."

"I love you too, baby girl." Auston said, walked over to Riley and hugging her tightly, kissing the top of her head. Auston let go and look the meals out of the Uber Eats bad, putting them on the table.

"What do you want to drink?" Riley asked as she went to the fridge to grab herself a Blue Menu sparkling lemon water.

"Same thing." He said, she grabbed another and placed them down at their spots. Auston set up all the plates, making sure Riley couldn't see what he was doing, she only went on her phone during that time, even though she was confused as to why. he came over to the table with the plates and placed hers in front of her, and his in front of himself.

"Well, I hope you enjoy my wonderful cooking." Auston said sarcastically.

"Why thank you, I'm sure I will." Riley replied. The two started eating and talking about their days.

"So what did you and the guys do today?" Riley asked.

"We just went to the mall and hung out, nothing special. What did you do?" Auston answered, putting some rice into his mouth.

"I went to the mall with the girls, weird I didn't see you."

"Might've been there different times. There were lot's or Toronto fans there though, we kept getting stopped and talked to, a couple people asked for pictures too." Auston said, trying not to sound suspicious about what was going to happen. The two continued their small talk and just spoke about anything and everything, until they were close to being done.

"Auston?" Riley asked, staring down at her plate.

"Yeah?"  Auston replied, smirking down at his plate, but not looking up.

"What's this?" Riley asked, now trying to hide a smile, and picking up the promise ring that was underneath her rice.

"Oh that? It's just a ring." Auston replied, still not looking up.

"Auston, what kind of ring?"

"A promise ring." Auston said, now looking up and smiling brightly, seeming very proud of himself.

"Really?" Riley asked with loving eyes, looking up at Auston. He smiled up at her too, and got up from his seat, kneeling in front of Riley. He then took the ring out of her hand and held it up.

"I promise you that I will love you forever. I promise that I will keep you safe and never let anyone hurt you. I love you, so much. And I know you're scared, but, this will be so worth it, and I can promise you, that one day when you're ready, you will be walking down the aisle and we'll be getting married. I love you." Auston said, smiling up at his girlfriend.

"I love you, more than anything I've ever known."  Riley said, leaning down and kissing Auston passionately on the lips.

"Will you take my ring, and be my promise?" Auston asked. Riley nodded quickly, tears brimming in her eyes.

"Of course, of course." She said, kissing him again. Auston pulled apart form her and put the ring on her ring finger. The two cleaned up their dinner plates and washed the dishes, and cleaned the kitchen up.

Riley and Auston walked across the apartment into their bedroom and laid down, putting on a Netflix movie and cuddling. Riley turned on Forever My Girl and she's seen it so many times, she fell asleep in Auston's arms, her head on his chest, and his arm around her body.

"Thank you for being mine." Auston whispered, and kissed the top of her head.
