Peyton's POV

I was surprised, but I didn't want to pull away. His lips were lightly chapped, but super soft. He breaks it off, and I can see the redness of his cheeks, even though it's dark.

"I...um..." He stumbles.

"It's fine." I silence him with a smile.

Glancing around, everyone seems to be reacting as though it never happened. I then realise that in the dim light they probably didn't see.

"It's late. I should go back to my room." I say sighing.

"Ok. I'll walk you back." He smiles, beginning to climb out of the pool.

I use the stairs because, well, I suck at climbing out of pools. Once I'm out I find my clothes and pull them on regardless of my still wet body. I swing my bag onto my shoulder and wave goodbye to everyone.

"Bye guys!" I call, and everyone waves.

"Cameron!" Nash, I think, asks. "Where are you going?"

"I'm walking Peyton back to her room." He yells, and there's a load of whistling in response.

Cameron's POV

She rolls her eyes and walks inside, me following her. I knew I shouldn't have kissed her. I'd only just met her, and I was already kissing her. Yes, I really liked her, and I was guessing that she liked me back, otherwise she would have slapped me across the face for it. (Trust me, had it done before). Would Peyton see it as a bad thing? Finally, I can't keep quiet anymore.

"Peyton?" I ask.

She stops and turns around. "Yes?"

"Was it wrong of me?" I say, before quickly adding, "The kiss, I mean."

"No." She mumbles, and I only just catch it.

To prove it, she takes my hand and her fingers lace with mine, and we stay like that once we're in the elevator, even though there is no one to see us. It's a short ride, so we arrive on her floor within the minute.

"You don't have to walk me down the hallway, you know." She smiles.

"I know." I say, still keeping my hand clasped with hers.

"Thanks." She says, once we get to her room. "I had fun tonight."

"You should hang out with us more often. The girls like you and the guys think your pretty cool." I offer. "You can bring your sister too, if you want."

"Thanks. Wait, you know I have a sister?" She asks curiously.

"Yeah. I saw you walking with her, at dinner. And Hayes met her in the lift before." I explain.

Had her sister kept quiet? Hayes probably asked her to.

"Hayes... the one from the gym?" She guesses, and I know that she had no clue as to who we were.

"Yeah." I grin, thinking back to earlier.

By the way she blushes, I can tell she is too.

"Yeah, I'll hang out with you guys sometime." She smiles.

She takes out her keycard and goes to open the door.

I grab her wrist. "I was wondering, if you...um... wanted to go out with me sometime?"

"Ok." She blushes.

"Great. I'll see you tomorrow." I say, a huge grin on my face.

"Bye Cam." She smiles, and slips into her room.
