Peyton's POV
Dinner went fine, however I couldn't really eat. My stomach was filled with butterflies and nausea at the same time, although I wasn't sure whether that was possible. I knew that we'd have to part ways sometime soon, however I didn't realise that it would be quite so soon. As we walked back to the car, the air had crispened, and I was able to see my breath.
"Here." Cameron said as we were still minutes from the car, handing me his jacket.
"I'm...fine." I shivered, hugging my arms around me.
"No, take it." He insists.
"Thanks." My teeth chattered as he draped the black coat around my shoulders. "Why the hell is it freezing? We're in Hawaii. A tropical island."
Cameron laughs as we reach the car. "I don't know. Come on, let's get in the car."
My mum climbs into the front, and me, Celeste, Hayes and Cameron crowd into the back.
"Sir, please can you switch the heater thingy on?" Cameron asks.
"The heater thingy?" I raise my eyebrow.
"Well, yeah." He shrugs, smirking.
When we arrive back at the hotel, the limo was toasty due to the heater thingy, but from the small walk to the hotel, it's long enough to feel cold, even with Cameron's coat which he won't take back from me. Stepping into the warm hotel, I shrug it off at hand it back. "Thank you, Cam. But it really wasn't nessercery."
"It's fine." He smiles, wrapping his arm around me.
"PDA!" Someone shouts from the large sofas in the lobby, and I see it's Carter.
"Again." Matthew adds.
"Nothing compared to you." I smirk, and all the boys start cheering as Matthew puts his hands up in surrender.
"Peyton, Celeste, I'm going back to the room. I assume that you'll be staying here?" My mother says, walking up to me, key in hand. "Here's a spare key, don't be back too late."
"Thanks mom." I say, pocketing the key before giving her a quick hug. "Night."
"Night." She smiles before turning on her heel and walking towards the elevators.
I turn to face everyone. "So what are we doing?"
"We're going to the beach and building a bonfire." Taylor explains. "Want to come?"
"Sure!" I grin, however I frown at the lack of people present. "Where's the others?"
"Alyssa wasn't feeling to good, so Ellie and Abbie are staying here with her." Matthew informs me.
"Oh, tell her I said to feel better soon. " I smile sadly. "I'm just going to get changed - it's too cold for a dress. Celeste, you coming?"
Celeste nods and we both walk up to the room.
"So what happened at dinner? When you left?" She wants to know as we step from the elevator onto our floor.
"They're leaving tomorrow." I sigh, deciding that if she was with Hayes, she had a right to know.
"What?" She exclaims.
"But Cameron told me that he'd book us flights to go see him." I say, unlocking the room door.
"Really?" She asks, shocked.
"But I'm not letting him pay for them. I'll give him the money, I can't let him do that." I mumble.
